Sheepshead fishing St. Pete Pier with Kayak Warrior (MUSSELS & Crystal clear water)

Fishing for Sheepshead using MUSSELS!! Inexpensive bait and they WORK! Met up with Todd the Kayak Warrior and Bryan and we had a blast!! Caught a ton of Sheepshead and probably would have limited out if I wasn't too stubborn to change my hook out earlier!

You can salt cure them to last longer and to stay on a hook better too! Tight lines!

They will get the job done! Crabs get easier to handle the more you do it. Just gotta push through it! Oysters are a fantastic bait too. Tight lines!

Yes, they worked even though I used iodized salt! Even better with the appropriate salt. They also work without salting but very soft and break apart easily.
