Quazi Sazzad Ali Zahir a veteran of the Bangladesh Liberation War in Kolkata on December 15, a day before Vijay Diwas. Speaking to ANI, Quazi Sazzad Ali said, “This is not 1962 this is 2022, Indian armed forces is a tough army. Bangladesh-china friendship is purely commercial. We are not taking any grants and loans”

But majority of Bangladeshis, even the modern generation likes Pakistan more due to common religion. They are not aware of the history and think India separated Bangladesh from Pakistan for her own benefit. They should know about the torture that were executed on them by Pakistan for their appearance and speaking different language.

@@monkeforce2915 We can notice similar mindset among people of Malaysia and Indonesia. Few centuties ago they had their own religion, some were Buddhists and Hindus. But now they being Muslims, have all become anti-Israelis. These countries ban the entry of Israeli passport holders. But if you closely look, they never had any relation to Israel-Palestine conflict but now they are politically aligned towards the Palestinians to such an extent that they ban the citizens of the other country.

How does it make a justification of the relation's between China and Bangladesh as commercial? Even Bangaldesh sought the support and is still doing so to undertake construction of some of the heavy projects in their country with Chinese funds.
Bangladesh is an independent nation. We as Indians may not like it but our neighbor has full right to serve its interests even if they're not in India's favour.

What happened in 1962???
India lost a war to china. Indian leaders like Nehru were contemplating abolishing the Indian army. (They thought there was no need for it). India had 12,000 soldiers on the Tibet border and they were defeated by a Chinese pla numbering about 100,000. After that defeat India rapidly rebuilt it's army and increased the numbers. Less than a decade later in 1971, it paid off because India had a very powerful army and it was able to defeat Pakistan in less than 15 days. 93000 Pakistan soldiers surrendered in less than 14 days.
Which commercial interests are served by providing tanks, submarines, rockets, air defence systems or even fighter jets? Don't you dare think us fool Colonel Zahir.

Not true. Coming from a Muslim family of Bangladesh; I know most Bangladeshis are quite vigilant on this. Unlike Pakistanis we know that we have Hindu ancestry. We are son of the soil. Dhaka my birth city is named after goddess of Dhakeshwari.

Media always like news, and they publish news of the few traitors of Bangladesh that is still there. But based on few media reports you cannot summarize an entire nation of 160 million people. Some of the largest Madrasas of South Asia is in India like Deobandh. Based on that information if I say as Bangladeshi that India is spreading radical Islam all over South Asia that will be incorrect.
