It would be really helpful if your product had some more detailed pictures. I'd be very concerned (or interested) to know
    1) Of what material is the mount made from?
    2) How exactly does it grab and rest on the TOP of the control surface?
    3) Is there any risk of it marking-up the surface that it clamps down on?
    4) Are there any soft surfaces inside the clamp to protect the arcade machine from damage?
    5) What does it look like (when mounted) mounted from the top-down?
    6) Does it make contact with any other buttons/controls?
    7) What is the risk of tipping the ALU or ALU mini over during vigorous play?
    8) One major concern is that the bottom of the control deck is plastic, and not thick plastic....so what's the risk of it cracking when the "clamp" is securing?
More detailed pictures and information would be very helpful. Thank you!

Hi David - thanks for your questions. We are known for our creative engineering solutions and pride ourselves in thinking carefully through all of those types of concerns before releasing a product. We are using melamine laminated plywood for all parts including our engineered cam lock system. We experimented with many different types of gripping materials before settling on traditional T-molding. It will not mark or crack the deck or tip over or interfere with controls when used properly - those were all carefully considered.

What’s the best steering wheel to buy in order to play games like Out Run? I’m definitely buying your mount.

How do you use otg mode with steering wheel to play racing games on steam?

Plus the PC into the OTG HDMI port and the steering wheel into the PC.

Seems like the mini would need to be bolted to a wall to use.

Sandbags work well too! It's actually pretty stable though even though the ALUM is very light.

I’m just worried that this will damage the deck over time

It really doesn't. But even if you manage to wear the plexi somehow, we sell new plexi and then you can upgrade the deck graphics! :-)

Thanks for your thoughts - appreciate it. In this particular product we're prioritizing function over form - it's designed to quickly and easily be removed if you prefer the default aesthetics.
