Upon seeing your thumbnail title: "The Batman In Complete Control" I immediately liked it as it was exactly what I thought about him when I played the game. Not withstanding the fact that the game constantly tries to give the impression that Batman is loosing his mind and will become a menace, I always saw him as sane as in the first game (Arkham Asylum). By "sane" I mean that to the very end, essentially, The Batman keeps on being the protector of Gotham, and never once did I doubt his intentions because of his supposed state of mind. Sure, he does some stupid things in this series' finale, but I blamed those on the not-so-good story conception, and my faith in the character never wavered. As can be surmised, I didn't like the ending of this game at all, specially the unmasking part; but listening to your reflective analysis I can see your point really well. Honestly, I had not seen the "handcuffs and shots" thing until you punctuated it and your ending comment about a possible "fear toxin infused" fifth game is very interesting, although not particularly down my aisle. After this eye-opening video, what now remains is to replay Arkham Knight under this new perspective, while I await for your possible future videos on "Arkham Asylum" and "The Dark Knight Returns".
Hope you enjoy your replay of Arkham Knight, because to be honest, when I replayed the game and noticed the details I described in the video, many cryptic things the Batman says and does in the game made a lot more sense. And don't worry, the Arkham Asylum video and the The Dark Knight Returns are coming, rest assured.😆
