For people having issues with it just not updating.... I went into the "install from a file" in content manager and it auto installed it in 10 seconds and worked first try. Far easier and only thing that worked for me.
@@SticksAandstonesBozo but this is not a guarantee! Safest method is still extracting the 4 folders apps, content, extension and system to AC root folder.

Hello! After a bit of testing, with HDR enabled, and either LCS or Gamma Pure selected, If TAA is enabled in the "Extra FX" panel in CSP, the sun will turn either blue or black. I don't remember seeing this mentioned anywhere, nor do I remember seeing it before this, so I'm guessing it's a new bug. After disabling TAA, pure is awesome! I love it.
@@onlyletterandnumber I don't know, the graphics is still looking like the stock Assetto Corsa graphics. I'm currently running an RTX 4080 and on an 34"LG Ultragear Ultra wide 3440x1440p and everything set to "max" in graphics through Content Manager.
thanks for everything you do! I never had issues installing ever but with LCS for some reason the brightness or contrast is turned up very high? Did I install something wrong? or is there a setting to bring the brightness to normal? I realize its only the sky that is super bright. Adding clouds or even thunderstorm only darkens the car and the track but the sky stays almost white. This is in LCS by the way.

Hello Peter, i really love how AC looks with Default LCS and the C13 LCS ppfilter. I tried Pure LCS now and what I am really missing is this blueish hazy in the distance which in my opinion makes the Default LCS very realistic. Is there a way to setup Pure LCS like that or is it a matter of the ppfilter?
If you like this you can restore this bug of the default wfx. This overall blue color is a bug of the fog algorithm. Use Pure Config app and go to the "fog" tab and set far fog exponent to 0.5. Actually there is no reason that this should be that blue, but if you like it and you have more immersion with this, thats the only thing you must change.

At 6:11 there is a Consent window tab with 3 tabs for various stroboscopic effects. I don't see this when I open Pure Config, and I am guessing my lightning weather mode has the flashing effects turned off. Is there a way to access the Consent tab somewhere else so that i can change it to "Activate it with full flashing effects?

As it turns it, in Weather FX in CSP I had the weather style selected as Pure LCS which meant (for me) there was no Shaders tab in Pure Config and no lightning in game. When I switched to Pure Gamma in Weather FX then i get the lightning effects, plus the Shaders tab.

There is no difference in fps with these 2 versions. The lowres package is just for GPUs with very low VRAM. But actually the Highres versions causes 192 MB of VRAM and the Lowres 32 MB.

Something weird happens for me that has never happened, I have bought these both on patreon, pure 1.40 and csp 0.2.3-preview211 and set pure ppfilter and set weatherfx to pure LCS and im getting very strong and weird glow/lens flares everywhere and i cannot see anything. Installed everything manually

I installed everything correctly like the video and I used 2.2 version csp with pure gamma and when I try to use pure config it won't let me answer the epilepsy questions. The app just flickers and won't let me pick an option it won't even show me what to do to fix it for enough time for me to read

@@sebastone20 mostly people say they followed it to the letter, but if I do they steps again with them they didn't. So please do the steps again and do them exactly like it is shown.
@@HydrexLive yes, just watch the install video and follow the steps exactly! That happens because it is not installed properly and then an error occurs and the Lua system halts.
My night sky is weird. There is no moon, no stars, no nothing. There is just a yellowish NLP haze in the sky when it's night. When I turn NLP down, it turns into pure black, still no moon. Tried different PPfilters, no bueno.
So, is all of this dead when EVO comes? Sure theres still going to be a ton using original though because of the mods. Any update on if EVO can work with pure?
@@robloyst4514 EVO is a completely different game AND it is not out yet and nobody knows when it will be released. So how should I know something about it and how it will work. Actually I think AC will live further because there is so many content and imo AC EVO will not have a modding universe like AC. So I will work further on Pure and create new features, because AC and CSP is a very good base to do custom things. I don't think that the new AC EVO will have all those modding possibilities, because a company can't handle such chaotic environment if users can do what ever they want to do. So it will be very restricted and therefore a decent amount of people will still use AC. With the constant development on CSP and Pure it has always some features which people like too besides other racing and esp. driving sims.
After I install all the files and set up settings for pure I load into a hot lap for a test and I can not seem to accept the flashing effect options it just continues to blink from the options to the second screen no clue what’s wrong how do I get into the discord for some support

Pure Gamma and Pure LCS have 2 completely different code bases. Pure LCS is made to support the new Linear Color Space shader of CSP. Those LCS shaders solving many render problems of CSP.
thats not what pops up when fully downloaded i get a file explorer window with 7 files, one is a folder named Pure Gamma 1.20 + LCS 0.45 then two documents and 4 PDF files. not just a single file.

with the latest Pure 1.45 you don't have the option anymore in weatherFX. You then chooes Pure Gamma for CSP gamma shaders OR Pure LCS for CSP LCS shaders.
@@antjones2281 if you use Pure Gamma, yes, then use pureVR. If you use Pure LCS, then it doesn't matter. You can set "pure" or "pureVR". It would load the same script then.

@@onlyletterandnumber got a question i recently updated my csp and ur pure so from 0.2.4 preview to 0.2.5 preview and from the 0.271 highres to pure 1.45 highres and my ram usage went from 2gb to 16gb and my fps was before on a steady 185fps and now it drops all the way down to 150 and render stats show as red line this a problem with ur thing or csp? (to make this even worse before i was recording my gameplay now im not)
@@demonic7676 pure LCS 0.45 don't have Skydomes yet, so it uses 3d clouds which are using more GPU and CPU load. The next version of Pure LCS, which I release at 2nd September has yet again the skydomes and it is much more optimized then Pure Gamma. So it will then perform even better. But on the other side, it could also be a CSP setting which is causing this, so you could also try to reset your CSP settings.
@@mariodansiglesiasdjmd1977 you can have both installed, just deactivate Sol weather app and Sol Planner app in CM - settings - Assetto Corsa - python apps. Both have their own wiper controls and Pure uses the one from CSP so they would block the CSP wiper control.
@@onlyletterandnumber I noticed that your pure file had "uninstall sol install pure" and "install pure" in your files, will those be needed for the new pure 1.4 or will putting the files into the ac root folder be enough?
I had this same issue, try reinstalling CSP and pure. I noticed when I was dragging the files over i wasnt transfering them into the main "assettocorsa" folder but one of the folders within. Then i closed Content Manager, reopened and I had the options under the Weather Style tab

I followed this video 3 times and no matter what settings it just does not look like the screenshots and video I see on lcs! Been installing pure for a while and I've never had it so hard. Drag drop the 4 folders >replace files> select lcs in weatherfx> choose ppfilter pure. I hop in game and my game looks f*cked why does life hate me?

@@kumklapper5450 what is confusing? I show you step by step how you install the things you need. Actually if this little manual confuses you, modding and esp. AC modding will be heavy for you. Imo what I show are just basic computer skills who everybody should have when digging into modding of a game. Those are just simple things on a Windows PC. Like copying files and finding folders.

@@umaniescin that red color is just the CM "not default" color. You can change this color in CM settings to anything you want. If you customize a setting to a different value, the value is shown in this color.

I can see the pure weather controller in Content Manager, but when I go to the drive settings, Pure isn't in the weather dropdown list. Any ideas?

when i click on pure config it brings the same menu but clicking any of the options nothing happens and the whole map and my car goes blue??

@@sebastone20 mostly people say they followed it to the letter, but if I do they steps again with them they didn't. So please do the steps again and do them exactly like it is shown.

Hi having an issue when i open the Pure Config menu it keeps flashing the warning but i can't press any of the buttons to accept the warning
@@HydrexLive yes, just watch the install video and follow the steps exactly! That happens because it is not installed properly and then an error occurs and the Lua system halts.

My night sky is weird. There is no moon, no stars, no nothing. There is just a yellowish NLP haze in the sky when it's night. When I turn NLP down, it turns into pure black, still no moon. Tried different PPfilters, no bueno.

So, is all of this dead when EVO comes? Sure theres still going to be a ton using original though because of the mods. Any update on if EVO can work with pure?
@@robloyst4514 EVO is a completely different game AND it is not out yet and nobody knows when it will be released. So how should I know something about it and how it will work.
Actually I think AC will live further because there is so many content and imo AC EVO will not have a modding universe like AC. So I will work further on Pure and create new features, because AC and CSP is a very good base to do custom things.
I don't think that the new AC EVO will have all those modding possibilities, because a company can't handle such chaotic environment if users can do what ever they want to do. So it will be very restricted and therefore a decent amount of people will still use AC. With the constant development on CSP and Pure it has always some features which people like too besides other racing and esp. driving sims.
ive had cm for a while when i try get the newer one it just puts me back in the same one
After I install all the files and set up settings for pure I load into a hot lap for a test and I can not seem to accept the flashing effect options it just continues to blink from the options to the second screen no clue what’s wrong how do I get into the discord for some support

Delete the dwrite.dll in AC root folder.
Open the CSP preview zip file and EXTRACT the "dwrite.dll" and the "extension" folder to your AC root folder (Steam install folder of AC "common\assettocorsa").
When I try to change the weather style it only gives me the Sol and default options, anyone knows why this happens? I followed every step in the video

Pure Gamma and Pure LCS have 2 completely different code bases. Pure LCS is made to support the new Linear Color Space shader of CSP. Those LCS shaders solving many render problems of CSP.

thats not what pops up when fully downloaded i get a file explorer window with 7 files, one is a folder named Pure Gamma 1.20 + LCS 0.45 then two documents and 4 PDF files. not just a single file.

with the latest Pure 1.45 you don't have the option anymore in weatherFX. You then chooes Pure Gamma for CSP gamma shaders OR Pure LCS for CSP LCS shaders.

I got content manager like 1 month ago then I wanted to get pure today and I deleted content manager to upgrade to the newest version and I got put back on the same one and in the weather fx and I don’t have pure gemma or Lcs any help? And I go to like 11 fps when I do PURE what do I do

@@onlyletterandnumber got a question i recently updated my csp and ur pure so from 0.2.4 preview to 0.2.5 preview and from the 0.271 highres to pure 1.45 highres and my ram usage went from 2gb to 16gb and my fps was before on a steady 185fps and now it drops all the way down to 150 and render stats show as red line this a problem with ur thing or csp? (to make this even worse before i was recording my gameplay now im not)
@@demonic7676 pure LCS 0.45 don't have Skydomes yet, so it uses 3d clouds which are using more GPU and CPU load.
The next version of Pure LCS, which I release at 2nd September has yet again the skydomes and it is much more optimized then Pure Gamma. So it will then perform even better.
But on the other side, it could also be a CSP setting which is causing this, so you could also try to reset your CSP settings.

@@mariodansiglesiasdjmd1977 you can have both installed, just deactivate Sol weather app and Sol Planner app in CM - settings - Assetto Corsa - python apps.
Both have their own wiper controls and Pure uses the one from CSP so they would block the CSP wiper control.

I had this same issue, try reinstalling CSP and pure. I noticed when I was dragging the files over i wasnt transfering them into the main "assettocorsa" folder but one of the folders within. Then i closed Content Manager, reopened and I had the options under the Weather Style tab
hey sorry u probably get this alot from dumb people like me lol, but whenever i install pure, it pulls it into my winrar, when i do it opens it and then it shows the pure gamma folder and then alot of PDF files and 2 notes. just wondering how to install that cos its different from this video.
@@suz444-r9b just go into the "Pure xxxxxxx" folder and you will see the 4 folders you need the extract to the AC root folder.

I followed this video 3 times and no matter what settings it just does not look like the screenshots and video I see on lcs! Been installing pure for a while and I've never had it so hard. Drag drop the 4 folders >replace files> select lcs in weatherfx> choose ppfilter pure. I hop in game and my game looks f*cked why does life hate me?

Rain is not part of Pure like it is described in its update posts. You always need a CSP preview version for rainFX.

Actually if this little manual confuses you, modding and esp. AC modding will be heavy for you. Imo what I show are just basic computer skills who everybody should have when digging into modding of a game. Those are just simple things on a Windows PC. Like copying files and finding folders.

I installed csp 0.2.3 but pure 0.271 and pure 1.45 don't install. Weather style letters come out in red on Weather FX. I want to fix my problem.
@@umaniescin that red color is just the CM "not default" color. You can change this color in CM settings to anything you want. If you customize a setting to a different value, the value is shown in this color.
