Does the same acetone trick work for removing dye from Carnelian?
It may or it may not. It just depends on how good the dye job is. A lot of those Agate Stones are dyed with years and years of experience, secret formulas and who knows what! But it doesn’t hurt to try.
Hello mam .. I purchase a rose Quartz crystal for the first time.. how to clean it with tape water or can we use honey water or salt water. Can I wear it directly after cleaning the crystal or I have to keep to overnight to moonlight
Hello, thank you for your question. We do have a crystal cleansing video which you can find here: satincrystals.com/pages/crystal-care along with written instructions. For rose quartz water is fine. I always advise against saltwater if your stones are polished. It might be OK but just in case you are worried about deteriorating the gloss.

Hi Pilar, it depends how the color formed when the stone formed so long ago. So, it really depends on the piece if it will fade or not. And fading would usually only occur after a long time in direct high-intensity sunlight. If you are worried, I would keep it out of direct sunlight!

@@satincrystals Mam I came to know that before using rose quartz,we should soak it in salt water to purify it. And in one video someone told it's important to soak it for 3days in salt water just to check whether it's a real rose quartz or a coloured one specially if I wish to intake the over night rose quartz soaked water in daily basis. Now my question is if I soak it in salt water for such a long time, wouldn't it absorb the salt in it? And salt is not good for our skin no? So after soaking in salt water and then cleaning in tap water, would it gonna give us that glow to our skin when we will use it for rubbing it in our skin?
We have not heard about soaking it for 3 days in salt water. To check if there is dye, you can soak it in acetone for just a few minutes. The dye will run out. But, if you decide to use the salt method the stone can be rinsed off, it will not absorb the salt. If there's any salt leftover, it would be so minimal it's the same as the salt you sweat out naturally from your skin.

Hi, you do not need to remove Rose Quartz at any time. However, you do want to be careful as the bracelet string or the pendant metals may wear away if you are in contact with water constantly (like the shower, or sink). Also, when you are sleeping, if you roll over your stones, they may be sensitive to your weight and break. Energy wise that is perfectly safe. As for it falling out or scratching your skin, that’s a different story! I know many people who store stones in their bras, so it’s not that weird. 😄
