I have the ARB full width bumper. This is a very high quality, well engineered bumper that I am very pleased with. The winch mount is the strongest I've seen and is fully welded/integrated into the bumper. The whole unit attaches to the frame with 10 fasteners. I chose the full width design for better integration with the stock fender flares and improved aerodynamics on road trips.
I have the Rugged Ridge, but with the longer end pieces and hoop instead of the stinger bar. Very happy with it. You don't need to modify the fog light wiring like you do with the Barricade.
Will be selecting the ARB Modular front bumper. Have looked extensively for a front replace bumper. An also looking at the Ranch Hand BTJ071BLR Sport Series Front Bumper for Wrangler JK
i have this exact barricade bumper. it's very heavy for its size! i am going aluminum stubby when im ready to add a winch so stay around the same weight. waiting for the JL so JK accessories drop in price!
TIP FOR THIS BARRICADE BUMPER: the way the aux light mounts are, it looks like you can only mount on top of the bar because they are mounted in an arch shape so there's negative space underneath, ends up looking like mickey mouse ears with lights on top imo. buy 2 hockey pucks, they have the exact radius as the rounded back of the light mounts. cut 3 sides to make a rectangle with 1 rounded side and place them underneath. drill through where the light holes are and get longer bolts. now you can mount lights hanging under the bar. a dash of black paint on the nuts now on top of the light mounts. mounting under tacoma style looks way better and everyone is shocked how stock they look, AND they still leave room under the "arch" to drill a hole. drill a hole to feed your light wires inside your bumper for a clean look and the light mounts act like an umbrella for the water. i plugged it with silicone around the wires too but in that case it keeps sun off the silicone and hides your work. super clean job!
Rugged Ridge Modular with bull bar and winch... although I wouldn’t mind a 10th anniversary either, although seems like putting a winch in those is a pain. AEV rear.
🌟Big Tip:🌟 remove your grill, then remove that plastic piece you drill out. MUCH better access to the inside bumper bolts. The driver side still SUCKS but it's a little easier.

I readily enjoy your videos they're very informative, it'll be very hateful if you mention prices or am idea on price ranges on the products also a link to them in the notes. Thanks keep 'em coming.
Just my opinion but the barricade products suck. Of course you get what you pay for. I would rather save some bucks and get the ARB, really cool look and well made. Keep up the good job.

Hello, (sorry for my bad english ) is it possible for me to avoid to change the shoks if I change the original bumper with a metalic bumper (just for the esthetic ) including single bull bar ? thanks in a shop : they told me i have to change the shoks because of the weight of the bumper ...)
ill never but another rugged ridge item that has a finish.... im in NY and they rusted from just rain and got even worse when the salt came and i washed my jeep at least every week....
Yuppie? the factory bumper is useless for wench mounting and is plastic. Now i know you're probably just running on flat trails but for those that are crawling rocks I'd much rather have a steel bumper that can take a beating.

of course ARB. i think it will look much better with stock fender flares. because i have one with stock flares. this is my opinion
I'm thinking I want the ARB for the wider "wings" for pushing down trees/brush. Most of my time is in the trees/trails of Black hills SD.
I have the barricade trail force hd front and rear bumper. Both are rusting like crazy
mine too!
Tren Linsley 🙏🏻🙏🏻
i want that ARB bumper bad..... maybe next year.....

I know it's all opinion, but the AEV bumper really looks more complete to me than the arb one listed here. Poison spyder for mid and stubby.

Gotta go with the stubby 👍
PNWwheelin 115 yet you mid?

What size and type of tires are on 4:41 ?

Can you compare the Trail Force HD to the Barricade Extreme HD bumper?
Like the ARB and Barricade bumpers..

How about a video on why someone would choose one style over the other (e.g., full length vs. stubby)?
Also some states including mine your bumper has to cover the front of the tires. Same as the fenders.
Do you know if you can hook towing bar to front bumper
Very informative and enjoyable video
I have to have a front license plate in my state So with the winch installed where do I attach license plate ?
What bumper is on the mango Jeep in the background in the beginning of this video?

Ryan, AEV front bumper also has the airbag crush cans
Whats the weight on the rugged ridge modular bumper with x striker?

I would have liked a price for each bumper at the end of each description.

Where do license plates go on these bumpers?
Like it, so much cool

I went with poison spyder
what fenders are these??
Yes music is much. He does speak clear and over music for the most part.
Best bumper for a Rubicon though? Don't you have to take into consideration protection of the disconnecting sway bar mechanics?
I'm going with the mid width
ill never but another rugged ridge item that has a finish.... im in NY and they rusted from just rain and got even worse when the salt came and i washed my jeep at least every week....
I like your videos but you need to relook (or rehear) the audio mixing. The music is way too loud while you are talking.
What is jk can anyone tell me plz
models from 2007 to 2017
HEARTDARKNESS1 thanks
How can this kind of video exist without mentioning AEV? Stamped steel is superior.
Why the irritating muzak?
I call em yuppie bumpers nothin wrong with good old factory bumpers, they’re very strong n I’ve never had ne problems used em for years
