Good ear, the lead is indeed the Flute from Japonesque in Shinobi III. most of the other instruments are from Revenge of Shinobi. Its a combination of the two.
Whenever I have an oriental sounding theme these games never fail to give me the instruments I need!

Yes indeed he did. He was a badass and the best CrossFusion you could get IMO. Grass stage+Tomahawk-Cross meant constantly regenerating health.

Yamato Man's spear is the only weapon that can penetrate Knight Man's shield and pass through his armor easily.
