What a great video, on so many levels. I loved the little griddle! You can tell Jorge Vallejo is a kind person who appreciates tasty food. Nice explanation of the technique for homemade tortillas!
Hi Rick! I've recently found your channel and I've been binge watching all I can. I have a garden this year and wayy to many tomatillos and tomatoes so I'm trying to figure out a good salsa recipe that will last a bit longer. Do you have any recipes for canned salsa's or one's with longer shelf life? In the meantime, I'm trying to eat as much yummy fresh salsa as possible. Thank you!
Very interesting use of ginger considering is not native from Mexico. It was introduced fifteen or twenty years ago, and is a very recent addition to Mexican cuisine. Is so recent that many people don't know how to use it, they think it's only for making tea when you catch a cold, or to feeding birds 🤷🏽♀️
Rick Bayless is such a great Mexican chef and so classy.
I've got garlic chives in my yard - love it!
Very enjoyable to watch two chefs bringing the sabor de Mexico to my kitchen. Thank you.🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏
Tio Rick is our family favorite!!
