    I've been putting Gmade parts on my trucks and so far I like their products. Got some steel beadlock wheels and they are heavy as f... which is good. Also running their RSD piggyback shocks which are doing great so far. And they also make really good hubcaps too. It's really temptiong to pick up one of their trucks, I love how aggresive their scale crawlers look.
    Some stuff you forgot to mention:
    -opposite turning driveshafts to reduce torque twist
    -front 3-link suspension to eliminate bumpsteer
    -scale, narrow body shocks.

    That laid down sort of uhh diff cover struck me as very weird when I first saw this truck. But, sure enough, you're right, Currie does that style on many of their axles. It does make some good sense, as it makes the axle more likely to slide over something, instead of ramming the cover square into the obstacle, and getting hung up.
    The inner fenders are indeed a bit half baked, but would be an easy fix.
    If not running an interior, this truck could at least use some window tint.
    When are Traxxas and Element RC going to hide their body posts?

    Definitely on my list. With portals exploding all around it is nice to see another straight axle crawler that performs. The next rig will be the Buffalo or another Trail King. The SSD TK is hands down my current favorite and so much more balanced than my SCX10.X trucks. Wondering if you have any thoughts on the two trucks and how they compare?

    12.3” wow that’s longer or bigger then the rc4wd blazer guess can’t mount it unless the wheelbase be slightly shortened. Looks good though definitely beat rc4wd to next gen 80’s body. And yes Please go over the transmission in set up. Looks low enough for more scale space in the cab. Thanks for sharing. 🇨🇱👍

    Love the review having hard time choosing which truck to get... buffalo, trx-4, rc4wd, sc10...I love the looks of the buffalo, but Traxxas and axial have better aftermarket support. I also have heard the buffalo has weak axel's due to cast gears.

    • @scalebuildersguild
      @scalebuildersguild  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say that the TRX-4 is the way to go. The SC10 is a solid choice too, more accurate, but the TRX is a better crawler. Thanks for watching!

    I thought the transmission also had the drive shafts turning opposite of each other to remove torque twist. I like the more minimalist inner fenders, if you don't have to cut them to fit other bodies that is a good design to me. I might get one considering I can't find an HPI Venture builder's kit anywhere now.

    • @scalebuildersguild

      That's correct, they do spin in opposite directions, but I can't say I noticed any less torque twist.

    • @thor_4017
      @thor_4017 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe because not everyone wants portals. Axial is coming out with a straight axle conversion for the scx10 III. Gs02f has gearbox with overdrive, 2speed and counter rotating outputs to reduce torque twist. I don't now if any other kits has that. Also no unreliable micro servo for gear shifting.

    Was this a review of the GS02F, not the GSO2? Also, isnt the diff between the GSO2F Buffalo, Bom , Komodo, and military just the body?

    I want the crawler world to learn from the drifting world. Magnet Mount plz. Are people making mag mounts and I don't know about it? I am a noob.

      Magnet mounts very much exist. But even strong magnets will give way before a hidden pin will.

      crawlers go through rough terrain and roll/fall over. things break and will not hold after few rollovers.
