    This makes me cry!! I too have been saved from WOF. I cry because so many are following the pathway to hell. I too was on that path. Praise my Lord Jesus Christ for rescuing me!!
    JUSTIN… God bless you richly for continuing to expose the false teachings running amuck.

    My brother in law and my sister have been pastoring a Word of Faith church for 15 years.
    Now they had a 'rededication week' and a week after that week the church split. 😨65 souls left the church now ,following one couple that planted a church 10 miles down the road.
    Preaching from a right heart does no good when the doctrines are wrong.
    Praise be to the Lord for breaking these bonds of religion.🙌👑

    I know of Virgil. I sat in his Bible studies on Wensday mornings at Westside. He is an incredible teacher. I remarked to my wife that I learned more in a couple of studies than I’ve learned in a couple of years with others. Thank you Virgil! He was a very busy man back then and I can’t even imagine how busy he is now. It’s wonderful to see him here! I do remember him speaking about how God saved him in spite of WOF.

    Currently in Upstate NY now. Went to all the COGIC Charismatic, WOF, Speaking in tongues, dreams & visions, Apostles, & Prophetical Churches. I was convicted in 2019 about all the false teaching & left all these ministries. I'm still recovering. Thank God! He didn't let me die under a False Christ/ False Gospel in Hell in error of His Word. Its the Five Sola's" now. In Christ Blessing to you for posting!

    Cried tears of joy watching this as God’s mercy is long😢🥲He redeemed me too out of this false and heretical teaching. 2020 was the best year for me as I started to read my Bible. Never heard of expository preaching before. Voddie, MacArthur and Washer started showing up on my TH-cam feed. Months later God orchestrated my husband and I meeting online. Me in Canada, him in America. Today, together in America, thankful as we both share the same love of God, His Word and his people🙏🏿God is SO good🙌🏿

      Kenneth Copeland deceived me when I was a teen. I forgive him, and I pray that God forgives him. I remember the night I heard the audiobook "Christianity in Crisis." I was sick to my stomach at the blasphemy I heard KC speaking. I had never heard him say any of the things that I heard him say on those tapes. I spent a long time on my knees, crying out to God in repentance for treating him with such contempt. I thanked Him for His mercy. Then I gathered up all my KC tapes and magazines and threw them in the garbage. The next morning, I called all my friends to testify to them and to apologize to them for teaching them heresy. That was almost 30 years ago, and I still remember the events of that weekend like they happened yesterday. "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1). Thank you, Lord! I encourage you to listen to as many sermons by John MacArthur as you can.

    Bless you my brothers. Justin, keep doing the vocation the Lord has given you. Virgil, I have liked your insights for the last few years on "Thinking in Public" and I am blessed each time you appear on "Fearless". I was saved in a Word of Faith church, and while there, learned to love the scriptures. Ironically, (or providentially by God's will) while studying the passages they claimed validated WoF theology, the Spirit used those same passages to lead me away from that theology. Thank you both for your kind, Spirit-led manner in standing for Our Savior in a wicked age.

    Praise God for Virgil's testimony; one which included the work of the Holy Spirit in Virgil's wife as well. Videos like this remind me why my wife and I support your ministry Justin. From the start, the issue related to finding and attending a church that exegetes sound doctrine and theology kept ringing in my ears. Clearly, God *will* "build His church" [Matt 16 v18], yet so many struggle b/c of false teachers. May God continue to use you and Kathy [and Virgil], to point people to the truth.

    • @nicholasgeorge7825
      @nicholasgeorge7825 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sister, there's some essential difference between "Charismatic" (from the Greek for gift or grace, "charis") and what is known as Word of Faith, though practically, both are found within Pentecostal tradition. A few simple points:
      1. The Church is Pentecostal and therefore charismatic as a matter of course, being granted the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead on Pentecost, 50 days after the resurrection of Christ. At this point, the Church is empowered to go out and deliver the Gospel, but also granted the powers that Christ retained in himself. He no longer physically present said it was "expedient" for him "to go away." By going away, that is back to the Father's right hand, the "other," the comforter, Greek: Paraclete, could come, being in us, with us and upon us, in all places at all times. Christ, though fully God, was limited by time and space in his human body.
      2. St. Paul, to whom is granted special revelation, deals with the so-called "gifts" of the Spirit, nine of them in 1st Corinthians 12. But we might as well call them "graces" for there is no distinction in the Greek. Paul seems to be arguing that the one present in the Church, does certain things as a matter of course, by His very super-natural "nature" (I hesitate to use that overused theological term, as Paul never does). But the Holy Spirit is two things:
      a. holy
      b. spirit
      So, it's unsurprising that in the Church we should find several supernatural and frankly impossible to do things happening.
      All this is proper scriptural doctrine (Pentecostal and Charismatic, according to the true meanings of those Greek words).
      How, when and to what degree we must obey and cooperate with the Spirit remains a matter of question, but not the existence of the empowerment. So long as the Spirit, who is God, is present, we retain these rights in Him.
      3. So "word of faith" is something of a Pentecostal discipline. The theory is that if one's mind, heart and mouth are "in line" with proper scriptural teaching and a rigorous faith-filled attitude, the supernatural graces are likely to happen.
      In practice, like much of Reformed tradition, it tends toward hypocrisy, arrogance, and falsity.
      We ought not rigorously separate Pentecostalism from Fundamentalism as both are well intertwined. Both are twentieth century revivalist movements. Both sought to purge the liberalizing Church from errors. But, the old Cessationist* doctrine of Calvinism is having something of a resurgence along with all the doctrines of Calvinism, except infant baptism.
      All these divides, at least in America, follow the Baptistic tradition. Note well that both Pentecostals and non-Charismatic Evangelicals are Baptists, that is, they affirm believer's baptism.
      So there is much in common. For example, our "mega churches" tend to be Baptist or Pentecostal. Things often are in competition which have much in common.
      *The belief that along with the compiled New Testament canon, the supernatural powers of the Apostolic Age were done away with.
      May revelation, peace, mercy, good fruits in the graces of the Spirit and the power of the Gospel be with you and your loved ones according to the promise:
      "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, you and your house."

    Good day, dear and honored brother in Christ. Just an FYI:
    You remain in my prayer list and on my calendar alerting me every morning. And I do pray the light of brotherly love ignites within you and overshadows, even forebears and casts out, the wicked temptations of harsh, hateful, and unkind judgement. I pray our Father most holy remove that spirit of inquisition that seems to think it can own an anointed man of God. In Jesus name.

      1 Peter 2:17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
      James 4:11-12 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
      There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

    • @Zionist_Eternal
      @Zionist_Eternal ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Fred the 47th
      Philippians 1:15-18 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
      The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
      But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
      What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

    • @Zionist_Eternal
      @Zionist_Eternal ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Fred the 47th
      II Samuel 1:14
      So David said to him, “How was it you were not afraid to put forth your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?”
      Justin sits in an anointed seat as does Kenneth Copeland. Therefore my intent is not to admonish either but to bear witness. Though King Saul behaved in action and in thought against both God and David, the latter neither spoke nor acted against the Lord's anointed. Moreover, he (David) forbade anyone else from speaking or acting against Saul--even so far as to condemn unto death one who did. Thusly, my brother in our Lord Jesus, you judge yourself. Please see it because the day is soon coming wherein your harshness will land squarely upon your own head.

    • @Zionist_Eternal
      @Zionist_Eternal ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Allaboutgrace
      It is indeed, dear brother, all about grace. And mercy has triumphed over judgement. Jesus, the only begotten Son of the everliving God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, is Lord of lords and eternal King of kings. And it is His declaration that we, His bride, His body, His church, in spite of those who embrace fear over love, power, and a sound mind, will be known to the world by our love one for another.

That was almost 30 years ago, and I still remember the events of that weekend like they happened yesterday. "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1). Thank you, Lord!

    Brother Justin, in my humble opinion, this is in the top five interviews you have done. The truth is out there! Brother Walker is a wealth of information and truth. Carlton Pearson was truly the "master of praise and worship music" on earth, NOT HEAVEN, on earth! Brother Walker witnessed it, I witnessed it, a true "RINGLING BROTHERS-GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH!" That "music ministry" ROCKED! It was the "club" on Sunday! Got you "self rightous" after clubbing on Friday and Saturday night! I had a experience once when the pastor was speaking and two women were talking during his sermon. I tried to "sussssh" them. Their reply to my "sussssh" was, "Hey, we're only here for the music, he ain't saying nothing!" Then they laughed at me. IN CHURCH! Next time, ask him about "music minister" Gary Oliver. Gary Oliver was white, who could sing and write music black, and could sell you a gospel CAD-A-LAC! Higher Dimensions "ministry/church" was truly the synagogue of Satan, the church at the corner of Sardis and Laodicea.

      That's a great point, even quotable "I can't find anything connecting tongues with any power in the Bible". Indeed. It was a sign of judgment against Israel and Jerusalem specifically for having rejected their own Messiah. This is what too many charismatics miss: it's not a compliment! Also, falling backward is a sign of God JUDGING a person or people. Falling forward (as on one's face) is a sign of reverence and awe and submission to God and is therefore good.

    • @lcollins4313

      Yes. Acts 2: 8-12 . Devout Jews always made pilgrimage to Jerusalem Temple yearly. Passover, Pentecost and ? Tabernacles. These devout Jews came from the regions they were scattered into 480 yrs prior in OT. Carried into Babylon. Many did not return to Israel, but still made pilgrimage to the Temple and would have been in Jerusalem at the time of the Crucifixion. Acts reveals these regions and dialects. Apostle Peter addresses these Jews specifically and their their regions again in 1-2 Peter.and tells them to listen to Apostle Paul teachings.

      @@Krista1979 I have one scripture (3 verses long) that covers both nicely, and just know, there are many more:
      "Isaiah 28:11-13 NASB95
      11 Indeed, He will speak to this people
      Through stammering lips and a foreign tongue,
      12 He who said to them, “Here is rest, give rest to the weary,”
      And, “Here is repose,” but they would not listen.
      13 So the word of the Lord to them will be, “Order on order, order on order,
      Line on line, line on line,
      A little here, a little there,”
      That they may go and stumble backward, be broken, snared and taken captive."
      I encourage you to do a search to find more.

    Drinking it all up like a man parched is a good way to put it.
    I came to God quite accidentally and on my own, very quickly realised Jesus is Him.
    I live in a country where the pastors are pro-LGBT as standard, or they are atheists in robes who just carry on the traditions of their local old church and think the Bible is moral fiction, or they are open supporters of abortion. My most local pastor is very proud of herself for having driven women to get abortions.
    My first encounters with other Christians mostly involved Charismatics who seemed to mostly want to shake my shoulders and loudly pray over me to receive the Holy Spirit in public. Had one neighbour who is a charismatic, who I tried to help because he is addicted to drugs, but he only seemed to want to talk about God as a way of dominating others and I couldn't really get through to him.
    You, Mike Winger, and Corey Minor are who I found when I prayed for wisdom, and I've been listening as often as possible since.

    Justin, I want to thank you for letting your voice be used by God to show many of us the way back to God. The charlatanry never went well with me and I was beginning to lose faith in God. While I'm in no position to judge, for me, I find it a bit off that people can just "bribe" God for healing or prosperity by sending money over to people with proven record of financial irregularities and/or excesses. The lack of humility and any sense of fear of God is something that I find seriously discomforting. Yes God is love, but God is also GOD and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. One can't just go about telling people you saw God in a heaven that has candy shops, chocolate fountains and so on. That's a projection of what's in their heart.

He goes by, "The Truth of God, First Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ." Pastor Jennings has a massive following world wide. Much of what he preaches follows along the preaching of John MacArther, except he is a "Oneness Gospel?" No "Trinity", must be baptized a certain way. Yet, after that, he is very Calvinist. Hope you can get a "handle" on him........soon.

    How does a person get faith?
    Romans 10:17
    “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
    Should people be attacking the word of faith movement? When the Bible clearly states in Romans 10:17 we get faith from the Word of God?
    Do our words speak life? or death?
