Kontroll is amazing - one of my top ten films of the 21st century - an extraordinary debut film - that final shot of the girl with the angel wings on the escalator at the end is a true work of art - the soundtrack and score is genius too

Did you guys know that there's a song called Ébredes (Awakening) by NEO with a recording of the robot voice on the train from the early 90s @ Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport at the beginning of this movie and Bulcsú taking a nap on the seats if you listen carefully. (My bad English sorry)

I’ve just watched your review and I’m so happy that you liked and appreciated this film which is one of my favourite Hungarian films . I’m Hungarian and I have a controversial feelings towards modern Hungarian films because I think the quality of Hungarian films decreased in the last 30 years compared to the older films Hungarian film makers did in the past. However I love Kontroll and this is still my favourite “modern” Hungarian film since it was released in 2003 . Im happy that you like this film too 😊

Interesting film, the charismatic characters and compelling setting hook you right away, is simple yet complex with all the things going on but all well made as an expressive surrealist film, in mainstream cinema you don't see this type of movie.

Im atheist now but back in 2006 my youth leader introduced me to this movie. Still to this day have not met anyone in person who has seen this movie or heard of it. And ive traveled and lived forn florida to NC, to California
