Casein I believe is what you’d want! It’s a milk protein. Your walls would be no kk get vegan lol. . A big mistake we made was using lime that we got from home depot. Garden lime is not the same as something made from a carbonating lime putty!
We’ve mistakenly used it before. I believe it’s a hydraulic lime. It stays chalky. The lime putty in the vid is carbonating, meaning it reacts with carbon dioxide to harden.

@@israeladesanya4596 people make the vinyl/mp3 comparison. There’s a warmth to lime washes. It’s pretty esoteric, but does exist. Some people are really sensitive to vocs and offgassing from latex paint, too!

What would be the point in using limewash on drywall there is no benefits whatsoever, its meant to be used with a lime plaster.

What is lime ash used for
We've never worked with it - i believe they use it in some ancient recipes (roaman concrete and such). Not exactly sure though!
