I figured, okay I'm on an Incline now it'll be easier right? I was squatting 250, 4×6 twice a week. After about 3 months I've worked my way up to 200 4×6 for Hack squats! Goddam I love Hack squats
I'm currently doing my trainers license at my university and when we talked through deadlifts the prof was like "deadlifts are not an exercise but a preparation for cleans etc in weightlifting so the eccentric doesn't actually have a meaning, also don't use straps as they make you lose force, we lift what we can hold and not more!" My former bodybuilding ass had to hold back so much 😂

12:37 Couldn’t be more true, I tried hack squats for the first time last week and had to check my ego because with good form and slow eccentrics I literally didn’t even need to put plates on the machine, my bodyweight + the machine weight, a touch over 300lb in total was more than enough to get insane sets. I felt dumb not putting any plates on but I would have been ego lifting if I did
