Another great video, Salvi! I really enjoyed how much empathy you display on your takes. Watching your content is like talking to a friend over lunch. And forgive me for this very long comment. I've seen a few people in the comment section asking about the deal with Filipinos and Millie, and I don't know if I'll be able to phrase some things correctly or in a way that won't offend anyone, so I deeply apologize in advance. I think that one of the main reasons why many people were hurt by Millie's post is because she grew her platform being a Filipino Vtuber. Her fandom was built on the love and support of Filipino fans who are proud of someone from their country making it in this sphere. She was actually one of the very first Filipino-speaking Vtubers that has received such a large reach in terms of corpo Vtubing. And it's not a stretch to say she got majority of her audience/fanbase from her countrymen. Me included a few years ago. But after the Selen incident, many of her Filipino watchers were actually holding her accountable for being a (sizable) part of the fiasco and after that, she seemed to start focusing her attention and content more towards her Western audience. Nothing wrong with that as she's entitled to her choices, whether that be the type of content she makes or which audience she wants to cater to-more power to her endeavors, but it's kinda like the Shay Mitchell situation where she's only claiming her Filipino roots when it benefits her or propels her career. Many of her past subscribers have voiced that it felt like a slap or a punch to the gut after they supported and defended her for many years, she was quick to turn her back on them when they aren't appraising, condoning, or turning a blind cheek to her actions. Kinda like, "You are supposed to be my people. Why don't you have my back on this?" until it became something akin to "Thank you for your support, mga kababayan. But now that I have a large international audience, I don't need you as much anymore." and even then, there's still an impressive amount of Filipino fans who remained at her side even after everything, and defended her with all they got after things broke out the way it did in EN. So many people felt betrayed that their past support apparently meant nothing, and that she's quick to play nationality dress-up when it's convenient for her.
Thank you for your kind words. I try my hardest to show empathy where it is needed. It may get me some hate, but I feel it is sorely needed in the vtubing sphere. I do agree with what you are saying on the Millie situation, as that is what I have been hearing from others who are more knowledgeable than I with the situation

Hex is lucky that he isn't on Twitch because not modding your chat enough is against one of their rules and I have seen users banned in the past over it. Not sure on what TH-cams rules are with not modding your chat enough are. Also in this case I think it is a friend or someone very close to Hex and not management who told him that he needs to do something because it is getting out of hand. The reason why I think it is very close friend of Hex's and not management because we all know at this point that management does NOT care any longer about Ninji EN and the entire EN branch has a lack of management as well. Plus I think that very same person also found that document and showed Hex it like what happened with the Raziel document on Luca where someone close to Luca who keeps their eyes peeled on drama showed the document to him and he showed it to his manager. With the Millie situation she needs to shut up at this point because she has her facts backwards it's not her that she hates the Filipino community is that some members of that community hate her and pretty much she tries to shift the blame on Hero Hei when he did nothing wrong but just stated the information that was given online.

You're right Salvi, Millie and the other Niji talents need PR training but we know the company won't provide it. So they should just remember the golden rule: When 💩 hits the fan just stfu. Every time they feel the need to defend themselves, it just makes them look worse and draws the ire of their haters. No matter what you say, your haters will always hate you. You can't change their mind and addressing them directly only makes them feel validated in their hatred towards you. You just have to accept that some people will always hate you no matter what and focus on your supporters. Give them attention and don't focus on the hate. Eventually the haters will get bored at not being reacted to and move on. Or they'll stick around to hate but it won't matter because you won't pay them any attention.

Just like my sister. The difference is, my sister actually respected her native country even after going to Canada. Millie is like my aunt. She used to work overseas and came back here in PH with a nasty attidude.
Let's do a logical review about the Millie thing, so as of now it's totally a race thing right? Kinda? So I saw Hero Hei's video, and it's all basically just a bunch of replies made by Filipinos. Now these Filipino commented that she was a traitor, a hate comment basically I don't really get the context of this, since I don't really understand what happened. So with that flow, when do you think it becomes a race thing? Is it when a video was being made talking about Filipinos hate her for this, or when she actually made the comments and basically cemented that, yes it's a race thing now, kinda.
I think it became a race thing when she said she wasn’t Filipino but Canadian cuz from what I heard Filipinos were her biggest fans and they’re really patriotic (?) so they got her back and hyped her up. When she said that, it caused almost all of them to turn against her since they felt she was embarrassed and didn’t want to be associated with them so they didn’t want to be affiliated with her. And when she saw that they were moving away from her, she retracted that statement saying how she is Filipino but grew up in Canada and basically trying to get back into their good grace. They continue to call her a traitor cuz they felt she only “became” Filipino when she felt like it helped and not because she’s proud of her heritage. That’s what I remember so I hope that’s accurate-
The thing with Filipinos that I noticed (I'm Filipino too, btw) is that a lot of them can't tell the difference between "ethnicity" and "nationality." A lot of them think that ethnicity and nationality are the same when they are not. For example, a Filipino born and raised in a country that's not the Philippines. I get what Millie was saying, but she shouldn't have said "I'm not Filipino, I'm Canadian" because that will trigger other Filipinos into accusing her of internalized racism (a Filipino who hates being Filipino). I get what she's saying, but she chose the wrong words to say it.
I really appreciate that you're objective. It lets everyone make an opinion on their own, and i just prefer that style. Because frankly, when people are just more rude, it just doesn't feel like it's fair for being a news vtuber, who should be more objective than just someone dragging someone.

As a former Hero Hei fan, don’t side with him even if he happens to be against Niji like the rest of us. The dude has little regard for journalistic integrity, as he’s been caught bragging about digging up old EN VTuber Twitter dramas out of context to make himself look good and even tried to drag WooHooLad for blowing the cover on Calliope Mori’s PL (long story short, the small balls man was so elated a certain demon rapper moved up in the world that he revealed who she was and then pulled the video so fast it didn’t even reach subs with the bell rung, after which he kept his mouth shut about the topic… he was too slow to stop reuploaders though) months after the fact.

Hero Hei is absolutely based, pro free speech, pro animanga and pro Japanese culture, he's not petty or manipulative like Millie. All the backlash she gets is justified.
I might seem to be siding with Millie on this one, but I genuinely think she's incredibly frustrated right now. Regarding the drama, it feels like people need to cut her some slack.
Ngl Hero Hei only made shit worse. I remember i used to watch him before something about his video i heard or seen, and then i never watched any of his videos again. Strange behaviour i picked up.
Yeah I don’t really like Hero Hei either. But let’s be honest, Millie is going after the wrong person here. Hero Hei is just a messenger and that’s it. Sure you can criticize him for spreading negativity but that’s journalism, not everything is positive. Going after him won’t change the Filipino mind, heck it would make them even hate her more and give them more fuel to spread hate. She should have just ignored this whole mess entirely, and the Filipino would eventually stopped coming for her.
Millie needs to look up Streisand Effect and learn not to keep putting a spotlight on something. All that was done was highlighting the Filipino fans being harsh and dunking on her tweet. And what was shown were the tame ones. It wasn't even about her specifically, but she has to blow it up more than it needed to be while saying someone pointing it out as a narrative. Here's my take why that's problematic, it's along similar line to people explaining Mr Mustache Man's big H is a Narrative despite the evidence is there for anyone to see. Millie, take a long break from the internet. And I mean long, no social media scrolling, no ego searching, put the phone down and walk away from it for a good 7-8 hours a day for 2-3 months type deal. Work related tasks being the only exception. And go hang out with family and friends irl However knowing how people generally react to being told what to do, she'd probably just double & triple down on that stubborn behavior of hers.
I think it's reverse, it just dramatuber got infinite content on Niji drama alone, also Millie tweeting in Tagalog doesn't help anything when PH fans already hate her
@@lorax2076 Yeah, that's what surprised me. Like didn't she already distance herself from her filipino fans whom were a huge part of the reason why she got successful? Man, as if people don't already have enough reason to hate her.

But you wouldn't understand that would you? not enough studying I guess. A simple wave pattern of the recorded voice too exposes it.
Look I’m all for supporting people for going through hard times.
But take it from someone who’s had family in their lives constantly using their problems to make it about themselves.
don’t tolerate pity parties
I can understand that.
Thanks for the showcase..
Let's just say some games that I can't stream on TH-cam, will be stream on Twitch www
And yes, I do only topic that interests me, or at least if I feel I want to give my takes as well as making it just a random chatting wwww
You are very welcome. Glad I could showcase your channel and let others see your content
That won’t sway me. I’m still siding with him nevertheless. You preach about integrity, a concept that’s already been dead for decades
@@GoldRichness Loser talk. I can side against both like a sane person.
@@mayborneflower this same loser you're calling doesn't preach dead concepts at least. Get lost, punk. Your so-called integrity does more hark than good
@@mayborneflower look who’s talking. You’re beating on a dead horse

What would i believed kurosanji? What they do to selen/doki about last cup of coffee? and now they releasing theyre own music vid with no problems 😒😒😒
Although I may take it back if she's actually the bully.
@@turritopsis_said80 she’s 99% confirmed to be one anyway. Don’t even try to give her the benefit of the doubt
Cut her some slack?
Kinda hard to do that when all she is doing recently is 80% behind the scenes and 20% giving dramatubers free content
99%? Source: Trust me bro | 4chan rratts, lol.
@@SolarisPhoenix42069 here comes the knight in shining armor to defend the traitor once again. You never quit. You’re just like luk. I’m resolved.
Ngl Hero Hei only made shit worse.
I remember i used to watch him before something about his video i heard or seen, and then i never watched any of his videos again.
Strange behaviour i picked up.
I've always seen Hero Hei as a Discount Rev
I may not like either of them, but at least RevSaysDesu gives the full context behind the drama he covers
Absolutely nothing wrong with Hero Hei, also free speech. Millie is a bad person, even her own countrymen reject her.
@yahnservices1978 Yeah, I know there is nothing.
Like I said, it's just weird behaviour I picked up on him.
@@markconstance186 I never said I am on the side of Millie on this.
Her attitude in the comment was already making errands on everybody's ear.
Too late for Millie as she's got like 100 Ls in her name now.
And go hang out with family and friends irl
However knowing how people generally react to being told what to do, she'd probably just double & triple down on that stubborn behavior of hers.
Bro she's been off and on for 6 months now, 3-4 week separation.
Edit: im wrong its like 1 week apart type deal
Then she ain't following her therapy well, now more eyes are in her for the wrong reasons that she tried to correct
Aaah i love it, the more reason to destroy nijisanji...
Millie is going "muh depression" now? Classic yt behaviour for someone who know their career is dead lol
Proves that MiLLLe rented free on dramatuber's head 😂
Also did a damage control by tweeting in tagalog/filipino language.
Millie tweeted in tagalog?
Nagtagalog pa ung bobo~?
Nah, sirang-sira na rep nya~
I dont believe you mean what you just said.
I’m a bit lost, what’s the deal with Millie and the PH vtuber fanbase? What happened?
Like, is it really just the whole “I’m a Canadian not Filipino” thing, or is there something more?
@@autemsicariusafaik that IS where it began, but everything else after (up to and including her responses to Selen's problems back then) kinda poured gasoline on the fire
The PH VTuber fanbase have basically disowned her because of her continuous shilling for Kurosanji
@@autemsicarius we disowned her lol, canada can handle her sht now most PH vtuber fan dogs her everytime.
Effectively, she's hit rock bottom, and instead of realizing and trying to fix it by not being a shill for the black company, she's become such a shill that the damage is likely irreparable and she's telling them to fuck off for genuinely 0 gains
I looked into one of the biggest vtuber groups in PH and saw what my fellow PH bros are posting and damn they really dont like her there. Deserved though. That out of touch thread is stupid
not "trump" and "staged" being trending (political)topics on x
Last time I got labelled as an ndf I gagged
Damn! What happened to Millie? LOL! 😂
Technically Millie is Canadian, she doesn't live here, she doesn't work here, her passport is Canadian
Idk Mi(Triple L's)ies Tagalog sounds so Google Translated, Like my moms filipino and she DOES NOT speak like this, nor does my grandparents
There's a big difference between being "objective" and being fed a fat, stinking load of BS. Millie has a pattern for lying, defending Kurosanji, and was likely one of the livers who bullied Dokibird (then Selen Tatsuki) into trying to end herself, TWICE! Also, the fact that you're calling yourself an intellectual just feels like a pure ego trip. I'm a friggin' idiot, but at least I can admit it.
Her -3 INT made her forget her actual irl stats. "Nakakahiya siya"
Also, Snowie is based.
Dude ASEAN main joke is we hate our own country, that is the most ASEAN joke you always make. Millie making that joke is the most ASEAN thing. You are not ASEAN enough if you are not complaining about your country
@@sandhiwistara9128 For better term, just use "SEA" for South East Asia instead of the Regional coperational organization of "ASEAN", they are two different things.
Last Time I use SEA they though I was a Seal living in the sea xD
Was it prove Millie was Filipino?
Either way, no one cares anymore. And filipinos already painted her as "traitor" and I doubt its gonna gone anytime soon especially is Millie kept doing things like this.
Yes, long before she joined neglisanji
She was Lyrica before, and had devout filipino fans, they're gone now that she's shilling Kurosanji to the boot.
