Ugly bow. Ugly expensive bow. Ugly, expensive, slow bow. Ugly, expensive, slow, heavy carbon bow. Just my opinion. But if you like it,...go for it.
I've never been a "gotta buy this year's bow!" guy. I got into bow hunting in 2008 and still have the same bow. I restring it when necessary and it has never failed me. Bows are expensive! Use what works 😎
What are you shooting ? I upgrade about every 5 yrs. And usually never get the brand new one. Usually the last years model. I will say there has been a huge upgrade since 2008 tho.

I bought 3 new bows in that last 10 years. My best purchase has been my new Hoyt ventum pro 30. Every 3 years I buy a new one and sell my last one. You’ll be surprised how these new bows shoot.
@@countryboy8932 I know they are awesome but I can't justify spending that $ to replace something that isn't broken you know?
@@natespnwadventures I understand that. As I get older and have more health issues because of injuries and other things I buy new bows but I sell the old ones and get 50% plus back out of the old bows after using them for 3 years so I think that’s a fair trade. If I wasn’t selling my old bows I couldn’t see forking out 1200.00 on a bare bow.

I own a Ventum. I'll tell you now the difference in these new bows is so minimal it's crazy to think the prices are that high. All marketing to make that money.

I have last year's ventum 30 model and I'm having a serious problem with my sight window. I can't get my peep to line up with my sight pins. I'm wondering if this is why hoyt made a change with this year's model to move the cams away from the riser to "improve" the sight window. Bow is tuned perfectly but site housing doesn't line up with peep. Very frustrating, I'm considering just selling it.

Love the Hoyt bows!! But buy one keep it 5 6 years and get another one!! Any of these bows last 5 years are so close together and will kill deer easily at 40 yards!! Save ur money and put it toward something that will help u kill deer!! 1100$ u can get nice quiet tree stands cell cameras, gas money to hunt other nice places!!

@@thehunter9149 Hoyt's offerings have just been so ho hum over the last several years. I cant recall what the model name was but their bows look like something they discontinued 5-6 or 7 years ago. Seems they're going with shorter, heavily reflexed risers with longer limbs. Its a personal preference thing but I just don't get excited at all when they release bows and I used to buy at least 2 from them every year as well as collected the catalogs.
Considering their carbon risers were almost as heavy as aluminum risers I guess there's an improvement there but if they are going to go away from a yoke tunable system they could at least make the shimming process way easier. Just seems like Hoyt is stuck in the mud to me.

Im sorry that RX7 is ugly.. i prefer the three tube carbon look better. Just my opinion.. i care less about them shaving a pound off a bow. Ive never complained about weight cuz im a man. It just looks ugly..
Hoyt is a top shelf bow..... but i would never buy one just because the looks. They are UGLY.
