This effected me so much it was so real fiona loves her dad but hates the alcoholic but unfortunately you cant have one without the other in certain instances
sometimes I wonder how much easier her life would have been without Frank. Would Steve still be on the scene? Would Lip and Debbie have turned out better? Fiona was a great parent considering her age but having Frank around certainly didn't help. Maybe he should have left too like Monica did.
@@abeedeahmed5626 but that's the thing. He didn't leave, yeah he was an alcoholic wreck and would do lots of screwed up shit but he was still there and they still at least knew their dad. Frank is not a completely horrible person like Terry milkovich is, he just got corrupted by the addiction and anyone who's been through it will relate to frank. When you're abusing alcohol AND opioids your morals will eventually go to shit one day and you'll be to numb to even understand how much you're effecting people or you just won't care but that's an effect of the Numbing.
i think what’s so great about frank as a character is that he doesn’t excuse himself away (well, he does in his own way but hang with me): he just straight admits he doesn’t want to change. doesn’t lie for a grift prolly cuz that’d lose effectiveness quick, doesn’t say his lifestyle isn’t dangerous.. just indirectly says he doesn’t want to change. he doesn’t even know if he can, or can’t.. he’s just not even interested in trying. he’s committed to his warpath. maniac
Season 4 that follows is one of my favorite seasons of a TV show ever. It has some of the best writing and performances I've ever watched. And I've watched great shows.
1:11 I think we have a lot of guys like Frank in actual life. Thinking doing everything correct in life is boring and being reckless is fun. He’s narcissistic and fearless of death.
This show was all over the map in quality throughout its run.... but the one consistent, was that when they let Emmy and Macey loose to really act the shit out of an emotional scene, it was ALWAYS fucking incredible.
Killua Morales Frank is bad but deep down under the addiction, trauma, and misguidance he does love ❤️ his kids and I honestly think Mickey and Mandy Milkovich’s father is wayyy worse than Frank.
1:05 I’m not sure if this is more sad or funny. “Throwing up blood”. “That’s because I got too much of it in me. It’s a filtration process. My body knows how to flush itself out.”
Not to call the series unrealistic, I stopped watching at season 9, but a drunk like Frank not in 1000 years could have such great teeth, they are flawless...
It's so shameless how Frank basically killed Butterface to sleep with her and get her pension then criticized her for trying to get a new heart. Now he turns around and just expects his family to give him a liver now that he needs it...
They did such a good job at showing the struggle being a parent adicted to alchol and the child dealing with it al it lit being between loving your parent but the bond is so broken
Hi, Serena here after watching the end of season 11 aka THE LAST GODDAMN SEASON. I just wanna say. HOW DARE THEY. You get us addicted, attached to these characters for 11seasons AND END THE SHOW. And not even that WE GOT NO CLOSURE FOR LIP AND HIS SITUATION IT FEELS LIKE. I canttttt.
My dad Is in jail cause he relapsed and my entire heart is broken I just want my dad back not the abusive scary guy who dont even know who I am I wanna my father back well I should say back cause I never really had a father to begin with
I have a grandmother who I haven't spoken to for years me and my siblings and parents have never been close to her for good reason. If and when she dies I won't be happy obviously, but I don't think I'll be that upset either
Fiona Gallagher no you were supposed to 🛑 drinking you have children at home who will love you 😘 🤷♀️ why Who would be destroyed that everything happen to you And be a fabulous 👩⚕️ that you are Do it for yourself
I feel like all of them kind of love Frank in doses but they keep their distance emotionally because its easier for them. Frank is horrible but at least he pops up once in a while and he's proven since this scene he does care about them. I feel like he really deep down loves Fiona and Lip because they each had the potential to be something greater than he is.
This effected me so much it was so real fiona loves her dad but hates the alcoholic but unfortunately you cant have one without the other in certain instances

His face when he says ‘what if I don’t want to change?’ William H Macy is such a good actor.

The quote "what if I don't wanna change" and fionss reaction hit me hard. Iv seen people on real life like that, it's honestly heartbreaking.
This is Spartan 117 can anyone hear me?
I love Frank’s smile at 0:06 when he sees Fiona. It looks like he’s genuinely happy that she’s there.
“NO! DONT MENTION FOOD!”
“Oh Jesus, Lip! Really? It smells like a distillery in there!”
LOL
I am a huge fan of Shameless and I can tell you this clip is probably the most powerful of the entire series.
Not as powerful as Fiona yelling at Monica, and Lip kicking Fiona out of his house
@@Killua_Morales his house? First of all Fiona raised them, second Carl bought it.
Yeah @killua morales, Fiona yelling at her so called mother is the most powerfull moment of Shameless can't see it without crying
@@rosechellemazzikintempest5208 The house is under Fiona’s name 💀 doesn’t matter who bought it
s01 e09....YOU WHERE MY MOTHER TO....Thats the scene that allways gets me..
I lost it at “I wrote a letter to Santa once”
Same and birthday candles
@Emilia Fischer don’t care
“Dear Santa, please kill my dad. Thanks!”
Franks laughing probably too cuz he knows he & Monica never gave Fiona a birthday cake & candles 🥳🤣🤣
I like how frank says “no showtime” not knowing he is a main stream of showtime
That was funny
"What if I don't want to change" ………..
When lip says “No don’t mention food!” Thats me all the time lmao
😂😂😂

“I don’t like the one that’s on duty, she’s fat” 😂😂😂 sounds like my alcoholic dad
When Fiona actually cared about Frank
She still does, they all do! They just hate to admit it.
Kaylah Mosley this is true
He’s still her dad. He’s just also a piece of shit and she’s pissed at him. Rightfully so.
Only cuz they needed him cus they/some were underage
@@aestheticbeauties2001 Well this didn't age well.
frank is the best alcoholic ever
and the worst father in TV history alongside Tywin Lanister

Lol always have an explanation for everything, Now he's explaining filtration process Lol dis man!
I love how Showtime advertised itself.
I think this was the proudest Frank ever felt about Fiona. Talking him into a corner takes a lot of effort.😂
Haha no showtime
They all really did love him
my daddy issues showed and I cried haha
Same
this scene is so powerful
Its just a filtration process had me weak

Most powerful scene in the series. #Amazing

No, my favorite scene ever is when frank tells his entire heart to fiona when he dies the first time. Like when he is hallucinating.
Frank calling the doctors parasites is fucking hilarious
Watches this while drinking a bottle of wine 😂
I do understand you Frank. Do not ever stop drinking, never stop drinking!
Does three raw eggs, some Worcester and a sliver of ginger actually work??? That is the real question here. Asking for a friend.
No
Well, eggs mitigate some of the symptoms of a hangover, you can cook them thouugh. I recommend a fried egg sandwich

R.I.P Frank Gallagher 🙏 🕊

hopefully she shows up at the last episode and they pay off this scene
What, you mean kill Frank off?
Love shameless 💕
Fiona did love her father. Fr.
My face when someone says I’m not 5’5😺
Um you don’t defrost an ice cream cake. You keep it in the freezer until it’s time to serve it. Those cakes melt faster than cotton candy in water
I love lip me and him could be related
Lip drunk reminds me of me when I first got drunk and got my first hangover trust me not fun even though I’m slightly drunk right now
this is a good nike commercial
What season and episode is this, please? Does anyone know where I can find the script/screenplay for it? Thank you!
