    On the morning of David's passing, I thought how strange it can be that when someone you’ve never met before passes, you can still feel such a loss. ….But come to think about it, David stayed up with me many a lonely night over the last 45 years - making my bad days better - my nights brighter, all while making me a better musician. …What a talent. - What a career. - What a loss. - What a soul and thank you for sharing it and thanks for touching mine. -J.D.Gragg

      We gotta see what we had in our lives. - A man who walked around Australia with a walking frame taught me that ... yes. We had the magic.

    Anyone else just find themselves streaming tears through the most incredible performance of "Heroes", EVER! Felt SO connected with him, absolutely shook with emotion when he exclaims " I felt that " . Not too many performers can do that on the level this man could. Thank you for making me feel, this day, and ever day I listen.

Hit me hard at the time but now I can go back to this show in it's intimateness nd enjoy both. Especially Cactus, that was his favorite Bowie song.

What struck me was that he really was enjoying himself. It wasn't about a stage persona promoting an album. He had a great band and was really chilled and happy. It was pretty magical.

I ordered this DVD from a company online but your upload is far superior, I was also unable to play the DVD on my computer as advertised and it didn't provide the whole concert but added almost unwatchable fillers like an interview and him singing Christmas carols with Bing Crosby. This was his last tour, he had a heart attack in Germany,
    I am so glad that I got to see this tour,
    He just seemed to be back on top.

    Thank you so very much for sharing! Absolutely amazing. Still miss this wonderfully talented man. Listen to his music everyday, now my 17 year old son plays his music. He is still teaching the children to boogie. Thankful. My son has excellent taste! Just bought him a 12 string, his 4th guitar.

    CANNOT believe he was already in his 50s by then. So much handsomeness, besides the geniality. I feel than, when he got sick, he also aged really fast.

    • @powermurmel
      @powermurmel 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I think so too. His voice got older, he "lost his cheekbones", he looked so different. BUT he still was amazing. A young strong man and mind in a sadly sick, older body. And in the very end it looked to me that he got a lot of him selve back. Like a last little glint of every decade of David 'Bowie' Jones. Oh lord, how much do i still miss him.

      Like in the Colosseum. Some people continue to seek the weak spot on their favourite entertainer. Some much art and joy David offer is not enough for you dear. By this comment you're trying to compare...the incomparable. Live your life.
