Brian Ferry is such a unique vocalist. I've been playing his music on my drive to and from work and analyzing his amazing voice. It just blows me away. Of course I sing along with my best imitation of his style, but I always have to stop, listen and go "Brian dude, that was freakin' impressive."

Of course I understand what you mean, but why really? We are sitting here watching TH-cam with usable quality of sound. If, for example, Spotify (and TH-cam) raised the sound quality of the streaming to CD quality (ie lossless) a lot would have been done in combination with a large television and a proper sound system at home. Then you could invite friends to a nice evening with top sound quality and picture at the same time as all amenities are included (stop the video if you want to talk, pick up refreshments, go to the toilet, etc.) :)
Unfortunately, it seems a lot of young folks are content to sit in a living room and play 30 second clips for TikTok rather than a full set on stage. The internet dug the grave, social media built the coffin, Covid hammered in the last nail. Good god, I really hope I’m completely wrong!

I love this man, I love his music, I cant describe how much his music and his style have effected my life, I've seen and Roxy prob 60 times first time in 1979 as a teenager at Liverpool Empire. Ahh - made my freaking day. Been a fan of Ferry forever and have been searching for videos with Cherisse Osei on the drums (first saw her play with Simple Minds in Detroit, MI a couple years ago and her energy is amazing). The musicians he finds are just killer - bass player - Jorja on sax - this is great.
I actually think she kills "Slave to Love" with her drumming that seems out of rhythm or rather tune with the rest of the band - she plays way too fast.
I love how how he dances …. Only a white can man moves like this…. Great show…. Swan like grace with some pretty avante garde music…. Been following this crooning icon for half a century now. Like a good wine for shures…. Definitely the 007 in rock n roll… shame Bowie ain’t around still. Style is not a persons clothes , it’s inherited and cultured…. Love this so much 🙏🏽
I am old as dirt and I was a fan of Roxy Music from their first album. This production represents what I think of Brian Ferry, The finest cognac of progressive rock which enjoyed to the fullest extent.
The concert overall is fantastic but in particular the rendition of Reason or Rhyme is for me mesmerizing. It really strikes a mood of tension and melancholy, plus the drummer and the guitar solo ... It's a piece of art.
Amazing singer and songwriter, with an excellent stage presence accompanied by top music performers! It will remain indelibly engraved in the history of rock with golden letters! Well done to all of them!

I love this man, I love his music, I cant describe how much his music and his style have effected my life, I've seen and Roxy prob 60 times first time in 1979 as a teenager at Liverpool Empire. Going to gigs regular I've watched many bands lots of big name bands many really good but never seen any band or performer any where near as good as this man pure class this man is beyond compare....

Ahh - made my freaking day. Been a fan of Ferry forever and have been searching for videos with Cherisse Osei on the drums (first saw her play with Simple Minds in Detroit, MI a couple years ago and her energy is amazing). The musicians he finds are just killer - bass player - Jorja on sax - this is great.

I actually think she kills "Slave to Love" with her drumming that seems out of rhythm or rather tune with the rest of the band - she plays way too fast.

The concert overall is fantastic but in particular the rendition of Reason or Rhyme is for me mesmerizing. It really strikes a mood of tension and melancholy, plus the drummer and the guitar solo ... It's a piece of art.

The thing about Roxy Music. I'm all about Brian Eno but Ferry is his own world too. Never has a band broken up so beautifully .
