Its even more than that. Back then they had to use their imagination. They had to do a lot and that's why most people who did something are well off in either one or all of these things including knowledge, money, connections and more
As tragic as other stories are in the resident evil timeline, Lisa Trevors story is the most tragic because of how George went our of his way to build a mansion only to have him and his family as test subjects and used as Guinea pigs for Umbrella's research.
I’ve always felt horrible for Lisa, a poor soul. Never found her scary in the game at all, just felt sad for her and all she was put through. Definitely one of the more tragic RE stories.
She scared the shit out of me cause I had no meds or ammo and I had played a hour without finding a ribbon so my heart almost gave out on me when I heard her chains dragging towards me
It's so messed up that Umbrella would send imposter parents to Lisa, how absolutely evil to do that to a victim of torture that was driven to insanity.
All the more reason to laugh about Umbrella's downfall: They screwed people over, abducted, tortured, murdered and used them as guinea pigs for decades, only to be destroyed by their own double agent (Albert Wesker), who exposed every little dirty secret to the public. Ironic, poethic justice and karma.
I wish they would make an RE game based on the stories we read in the journals. Imagine being in Umbrella as the scientist just before the outbreak and you are forced to kill your friend and hang yourself at the end, ready for Jill and Chris to find you.
I’m excited to see they’re exploring Lisa’s character further in the Welcome to Raccoon City movie but I read a blurb on a movie news site that said Lisa and Claire’s backstories are going to be “closely tied together” based on the “orphanage they both grew up in” which is completely incorrect backstories for both characters and makes me even more nervous about an already sketchy looking movie.
@@jorgeperez3227 The set pieces and costumes we’ve seen from production photos definitely look 100x better than anything to come from those horrible movies (the exception being Sienna Guillory as Jill, whom I enjoyed despite thinking she was a bit too aggressive/cocky compared to the original RE 3 Jill). The costume was spot on, though I wish they’d stay true to the original character and cast a half-Japanese/half-European (French) actress to play her. The Jill from the new movie was brown-washed by the pathetic, pandering director who didn’t even have the decency to attempt to give her the correct RE: 1 costume.
@@joshuafranklin5636 Yup! We originally seen really awesome set photos of the the creepy orphanage Chief Irons chases Sherry through in the RE:2 Remake and I assumed it would be for a similar scene in the movie, but now it’s looking like it’ll most likely be tied into Claire and Lisa’s newly created shared backstory. Even further than that, per the set photos it is the same orphanage from RE 2 which implies both Claire and Lisa grew up in Raccoon City which is also completely incorrect. Part of what made Claire’s campaign even more frightening was the thought she had probably never had an extensive tour of the city outside of visiting Chris here and there after he joined RPD, so not only was she dealing with the the chaos of the outbreak and the BOW/Birkin stalking her, but she was essentially traveling around the city blindly. This movie doesn’t even come out for another 2 months or so and you can already tell it’s completely missed the mark with Claire’s character at least.
