This was the best thing you have ever said in your videos @21:40. Its the whole truth about coming there to live. I'm really thinking about being a snow bird there at the end of the year. I'm just too happy living in Canada to make a complete move.

You are a tough cookie, Mark...resiliant with the proper attitude. Just saying... "organized" is not any part of the definition of chaos.😊 All the best to your new family!

Yes, pick your expat friends well here. Vloggers don't speak much about the Mental illness and serious alcoholism among expats here. Be cautious and careful about what you say around other expats. My advice is to stay generic and neutral with your words until you know the other person for a while. And stay far away from the crazy ones.

    (Google search 🙄)
Chaos - noun - complete disorder and confusion. I was surprised that there wasn't a picture of traffic in the Philippines with the description 😂😂😂.
    Good video by the way.

Hi Mark. I agree that you made a good decision staying put in Dumaguete. I’ve heard & read a lot of good things about that province which is one of the places to visit in my bucket list.
I grew up in Manila & went to school here & this is where the traffic & pollution is & cost of living is way up just from the last 5 years. I definitely think you chose a good place to settle down.
FYI.. I’ve lived in USA for almost 50 years now & I fly back to Manila 4 months out a year to escape winter time here.
Enjoy your new baby & God bless!

I am that guy! As a retired trucker, I have lived a solitary life for the last 3 decades. I have no family or friends, just my 2 dogs, which are coming with me. I am in the process of packing my balikbayan boxes and getting the paperwork done for my pups to travel. I will have an income of about 80k a month and about $12k savings, like you, I don't plan on looking for a GF. I am at the point where if I stay here I will die of loneliness and depression. I lived in Thailand in the 80s ( pre-internet) and loved it. I was a poor English teacher and only made about $500 a month but there was something magical about it. I never thought about going back , but the US is going down a dark path and I feel that I have to say goodbye to the country I once loved.

Hi Mark glad things are going well.. you know I come in from time to time ever since Paul pushed you to start your channel years ago... Not just myself there's three of us, we really want to know your words on the incident with Dexter at the coffee shop we've seen the paperwork on the internet... We want to hear from you is it over and done with water under the bridge did you guys kiss and make up or say??, we're supporting your channel but it's hard not knowing exactly where you're at with this stuff... We feel we should be told where you're at with it for the simple fact we support your channel for years... Private stuff keep private but this is out there and I feel I don't like hearing it from other channels I want to hear from you where you stand and what's the status please???

I did a whole video on the fight. An Unfortunate situation
Lots of threats from Justin Carmack Critter Hunter. But so far nothing from the court. Justin wound Dexter up by telling him a bunch of lies Dexter confronted me threatened me in public - watch the whole video
I had no choice but to defend myself
Only option fight in the restaurant or ourside. I have witnesses who will testify that Justin and Dexter started the fight. Justin is a grifter and a lier.

Do you come across expats that aren't interested in the beaches but prefer remote country life with internet
access preferred but not a priority? I'm also curious how an expat handles filing income taxes. Are you concerned
    with the current geopolitical environment?
