    I love teaching anatomy!!! We love horrible science books!!! I grew up with horrible history books so I knew that my kids would love them!!! We love using skeletons and I got one for each of my older kids!!! We love masterbooks science and especially their anatomy books!!!

      I have seen the Horrible History books, but I have yet to use them. They do look fun though... This will be our first "Horrible" book :)

      Honestly, yes! This is my favorite science we have done in our homeschool to date. That being said, I will add... you don't need to get all the books! I would get about 1/2 of them and be happy about it. I really like the much shorter books that we can get through in less than a week. Anything that it big and bulky (except the spine like Blood and Guts), I would have not picked up (unless you have middle schoolers who love to read, etc). The informational books are good, if you have kids who want to look at those. Here is the latest video in that I talk about how this is going for us: th-cam.com/video/nMbMucXinrA/w-d-xo.html

    Do you think 1st or 2nd graders would understand the material if learning along older kids? It looks so good!

      I think that there is something for everyone here. Some may be too advanced, but some will definitely be on their level.

    in the Guest Hollow Anatomy guide, does all those books are scheduled to read from cover to cover?

    • @CalmintheChaosHomeschool
      @CalmintheChaosHomeschool  ปีที่แล้ว

      No… just some of them are scheduled and some are additional books. They will tell you in the guide which are priority #1 to 4

      Right! How do you choose? I know I am going through some of them and deciding "realistically" which ones will be just glance through books, which I will actually read out loud, and which I will actually be saving for 2 years from now when I'm planning my girls to do their Biology high school credit.
