I used to live next door to this old couple who came from Jamaica. Lovely people and you would not hear anything from them until one day I heard a scream. I went round, wondering what was going on. The woman opened up the door to me absolutely terrified and the man was franticaly rumaging in a cupboard under the stairs.
He pulled out something and the old dear saw it and screamed. Not seeing what it was I asked what was wrong to him but he walked into the next room and the lady just started screaming at me and said he was about to do something terrible. I could not wait any more and ushered the terrified lady outside, took a deep breath and slowly walked into the house. Around the corner I saw the man holding a gun. He turned at me with his eyes fixated and said
"There's a rat in me kitchen what am I gonna do? There's a rat in me kitchen what am I gonna go? I'm gonna fix that rat that's what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna fix that rat..."
😂 that’s when you just turn and walk back out let him do what he’s gonna do

Leaving poison for a rat is so cruel and a horrible death for them. Trap them humanely and then take them somewhere away from your home and let them free. They’re just looking for food and trying to live.

You never heard the phrase "breed like rats" before? Old girl already said she's seen it with a baby. Get rid or get overrun. As soon as there's a significant number and not enough food they're going to have to find another source and your house is the closest option. Rats can fit through the tiniest hole and bite through almost anything.

I remember growing up we lived in a house that had huge rats...my dad set big traps under the house...one night my parents had friends over and we all saw a big fat rat in the house...It really was hilarious because it ran across the couch... It ran back behind the water heater to escape but my dad got his gun and shot it while it was trying to escape....never had anymore rats in the house but dad caught a lot with them big traps under the house...

@Karina Peters Yeah I was a chef for years and I'd see them in the bin yard sometimes, no matter where in the country I was working, cities or middle of nowhere. Huge fuckers bigger than my adult male foot with a tail just as long as the body. I ain't really scared of much but I started doing Michael Flatley Riverdance whenever I saw one of those beasts lmao 😅

That lady's lucky she only has a rat in her garden. When I was little we lived for a while in an old farmhouse in New Jersey that was full of rats with attitudes that suggested that they had come from NYC. Dad put a cat down in the basement and the poor thing was scratching at the door to get back into the house within ten minutes or so because the rats beat the snot out of him. He never got put into that basement again after that.
Wow probably not a good idea to have a single cat Vs 100s of rats. I hope it was at least a big male cat that could withstand the beating.

i know some people might feel bad for the rat, but the thing is about rodents is you can't really afford empathy. They breed faster then almost any pest, and once they multiply they are very fucking expensive to kick out.
I will never forget my child hood best friends house and the border line abusive conditions his mother made him live in. She loved mice, so when one broke into her house she allowed it to stay even though I told her that was a bad idea. Later that month it was common to see four crawling around and she went "oh they are so cute, its okay" then by half way through the year their was easily hundreds of the boogers crawling on you while you slept, that was the last time i visited the house. And this all could of been stopped if she called in somebody while there was only a few.
Don't fall for their cuteness, handle it while its still int he early stages or cry later with your wallet.

NOW that RAT ate the bait has 4-5 days, of painful dying to do as It contain warfarin or other powerful blood thinners that cause the rat's blood cell to separate from plasma, all the circulatory system fails and starts leaking blood internally.
