We had a much worse understanding of things like: Dementia, Autism, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Alzheimers, cancer, etc. There were terror attacks constantly all over the world. School... pewpews were rampant back then just as much as today. The world has always been wartorn. People hated each other. Pointlessly might i add. People always will. But that doesnt mean that *you* have to hate others. And im incredibly glad that you dont seem to, and also seemed to have not had many hateful people around you during that time. Heres to hoping you can find some respite from the world in the near future!

You remember them being the best games you have ever played, because at the time *they were* and were likely the first games you had ever played. We used to have thousands of golden games for consoles and we still do, we can still go back and play them, as many of us continue to do, instead of feeding into the modern gaming hivemind virus. There are still great games, but they are too far and too few to really stack up compared to 2001-2012. Developers that made games to be fun, that originally made them just to play with their close group of friends, ideas that sparked from those sort of things. i'll be honest during this time it way easier than it is now because of social media. Still nowhere what it was before 9/11 but wayyy better than it is now. The hits had an immense replay value that no one seems to mention. I guess because all the artists had fresh ideas and these were their first breakthrough hits. 2013 felt like the last year and goodbye of an era and since then it's just getting more waterrrred and watered down.

Bathrooms for the most part all look the same or similar, which makes them fascinating because if your time traveling between the 1970s-today unless someone either told you or whatever else, you wouldn’t know what time period you may be in.
I was 19 at the time. I remember these a lot because while my party phase was coming to end for me, my brother decided to take up MMA and join some local promotions. I heard a lot of these songs in the arenas he fought in. The distant echo sound you hear in this video is exactly what I would hear when I would be walking in or out of the restrooms. Seems like such a dumb detail but shit like that sticks with you and these videos are really great at capturing those moments.

I was at a high school friend's wedding earlier this month and I requested she had songs from high school (2008-2012) play at the dance. Being born in 2008, I missed many things, but even so, it all still feels nostalgic somehow.

Bathrooms for the most part all look the same or similar, which makes them fascinating because if your time traveling between the 1970s-today unless someone either told you or whatever else, you wouldn’t know what time period you may be in.
Nostalgia is eating me up right now
I was 19 at the time. I remember these a lot because while my party phase was coming to end for me, my brother decided to take up MMA and join some local promotions. I heard a lot of these songs in the arenas he fought in. The distant echo sound you hear in this video is exactly what I would hear when I would be walking in or out of the restrooms. Seems like such a dumb detail but shit like that sticks with you and these videos are really great at capturing those moments.

Also Pain Hours, I have to give you a shoutout. I was at a high school friend's wedding earlier this month and I requested she had songs from high school (2008-2012) play at the dance. Needless to say, I got the same effects of these videos from hearing songs in the other room and hearing the collective crowd "ooooohhhh!!!!!" when a banger came on. Felt like I was back in the glory days.
