It was a better time in general. Then 2020 came and everything went down the pooper.

The early 2010's was such a golden era. Everything seemed so happy back then I don't know why. TH-cam and the internet as a whole was pure it seemed like. Music was very up beat. Staying up all night playing Call of Duty with the boys. This era will be untouched.
Because we had the perfect balance of social life, games and social media. All was much freer and simple, but novel as well. Nowadays people hide behind a mask (pun intended) prettending to be something they're not for a few likes, and also thinking twice everything they say since society is hypersensitive.

Im a 1997 zoomer and I was 14 in 2011, so many memories of just sitting and talking with friends in my neighborhood. We didn't have cellphones so we'd each log on to Facebook on our crappy computers to chat and tell each other the time and where to meet up. We'd hang out, eat, play video games on the Wii and listen to music and Party Rock was one of the songs that would always be on the playlist.

In 2017-18 we experienced probably the strangest thing on the internet. Memes collapsed on themselves and we went from actual funny stuff to bass boosted words. The music industry changed, with soundcloud blowing up and brining mumble rappers to the spotlight. The hole vine left in the online community was filled by tiktok, which was way worse. It was almost like a complete change of culture that took so long yet felt so short that we didnt see it happen.

You gotta admit, the music from this year was legendary

It really was legendary and unique, I can tell the big difference between 2000/2015 and 2021. Honestly 2000/2015 songs are still unique musics to me even they are old and still listening to ‘em. I miss these old days, it gives me a big wave of nostalgic
2011 music was great .
Some will disagree. I think it was a good time .
True words 👍👍
2000 was still the 90’s. The 90’s were gone by 2003 or 2005, like with any other decade transitioning. A lot of older people like to say that music and media went downhill from 2000’s onwards. I’m not sure about going downhill, but I can definitely notice different styles per era.
I like all of these “you’re at the bathroom at a party back in xxxx series” because it truly brings into perspective the fleetingness of times and memories. Of course at the time of youth you feel invincible not realizing that every second of every minute of every hour is gone and gone forever. Cherish each moment as it comes to you, try and make the most of it all, but above else slooooowwwwww down and truly enjoy and savour the times especially in your late teens and all your twenties because those times truly are as good as they get. Thirties aren’t bad, they just bland. Don’t believe that bs that thirties are the new twenties cause they’re not. Enjoy your times and don’t put off worthwhile experiences to be had during your youth because one day you’ll wake up and be thirty. Next time you wake up, you’ll be 35. It literally felt that way for me. Then 40. Luckily I had a blast throughout my twenties.
I'm 21 now, I'll turn 22 in August. Sometimes I feel I need to live more, like... collect and make memories. I really needed to see your comment. Thank you 🙏🏼

Summer of 2011 was one of the best times of my life. I just graduated high school, was looking forward to college, had an awesome summer job in the water park. Mortal Kombat 2011 was out. WWE had great storylines. Life was just good.
Damn what was your job
As a 2002 kid all these songs bring lots of memories to me, specially since I wasn't old enough to go to parties at the time and I grew up mostly sitting in front of a computer talking to my friends and playing games with all these songs in the background, now it just doesn't feel the same, it feels like we have really lost the Internet
I feel you brother. 2002 here, this songs bring memories
2003 here homie, never been to any of those parties but I wish I was born in 1995 sometimes, cuz I won’t experience this vibe again anymore.

I wasn’t old enough to go to these parties but I remember when all the good hits like Call Me Maybe, Party Rock Anthem, Gangnam Style, and other good hits were playing on the radio and also went viral on the internet, like bro? Starting in 2014, what happened to society?
Everyone is so divided and crazy these days compared to 10-12 years ago in the early 2010’s. Back then everybody was uniting to dance to these songs and then all of a sudden 2014-2015 comes and everybody is just cursing each other out and canceling this and Corona that, like what happened to us?
I’m right with you bro I was also born in 2002!

Daaaamn.
Party Rock Anthem.
That one brings crazy memories.
I was 18, around the time I got my bike’s license. We just graduated, it was the start of the summer, a hole bunch of hot girls, me and my buds were really looking for some fun after a long and hard senior year and we were really happy it was over because it was stressful for everyone. A mutual friend of ours told us about a senior party that was going on at someone’s house from another high school and invited us to hang out.
We arrived, the bass was so loud I felt it in my stomach, we were outside, parking my buds cars and my bike and this song was blasting, everyone was dancing, had a good time. Our friend that invited us said that their cousin was graduating from that school and will go inside looking for her and her friends to introduce us. We waited around 5 minutes cracking jokes, and wondering what girls we will meet. And then they came. That was the moment I literally seen the most beautiful girl ever.
We talked for a bit but somehow we were throwing looks at each other whenever she was going to her friends or when I was going to see how my friends are doing. It was pure chemistry. She was tired eventually and i offered to give her a ride home on my bike(this is why is better to carry a second helmet with you every time). She really loved it and we had a lot of laughs even tho she was a bit scared at first but excited at the same time, especially after she heard what a rev bomb sounds like from up close😂. When we said good bye she gave me a kiss on the cheek and gave me her phone number.
I called her the next day (fuck the 3 days no contact rule if you follow that bullshit ,don’t be a stupid moron like most guys are, some girls are really worth it) and I invited her to grab something to eat and maybe watch a movie if she wasn’t busy. She agreed, by telling me very clearly that she expects me to pick her up with my bike😂 (and that was because I was teasing her for being scared, she wanted to prove me she isn’t afraid which you can imagine, intrigued me as well).
The date went really well and while we were standing at her door step we were starring at each other. I cracked the ice by asking her if she was still scared. She kept starring into my eyes then kissed me, after the kiss replying with and i quote “Not when I’m with you”. And that was it ladies and gentlemen. The best memory of my entire life. Why you might ask ? Well, 10 years later, she is my wife. Damn, time really does fly. My wife is pregnant at this moment and when our daughter will be old enough and ask me how me and her mom met i will play her this song and tell her this story.
It’s funny how a party can put you on this kind of path in life, so for the young people reading this: Never stop partying guys! You never know who you might bump into. I was really young when these songs came out, 7 or so. I don’t interpret them how a lot of you guys did in parties or experiencing your teenage years. Legit, I'll tell you a story with the song that starts at 15:42. It's New Years 2011, going into 2012. I was 17 at the time and it was my first time going to an actual house party (Canada). So many people I haven't met, and randomly introducing myself to people through acquaintances and mutual friends. There was one particular girl (my age) that really caught my eye, beautiful face, eyes, hair, the whole thing. I introduced myself and we casually talked for quite some time, I cracked some jokes and made her really laugh. Then her guy friend walked over and told her that their group was leaving if she wanted to tag along, she agreed. I said my good-byes all bummed, (which she noticed) and went to the bathroom kinda sad drunk. LEGIT, I clearly remember this song playing outside the bathroom like this, THIS TH-cam track. I was leaning my butt against the bathroom counter, spacing out. Eventually I made my way to the door because I heard knocking (who I thought were ppl needing the restroom). IT WAS HER. Her words were "Hey, sad stranger." She liked how shocked and excited I was, realizing it was her knocking. She asked me to hang out with her some more, and one thing led to another, and you get the gist of the rest of story. Anyway, that Katy Perry track brought me back to a time that I had completely FORGOT about. I love these kind of videos. Sorry for the long ass comment!

I was stationed in Korea almost all of 2011 and 2012. Mostly Uijeongbu, sometimes Seoul, occasionally Busan. My battle buddies Strachan and Valencia and I would go into the "Ville" and go to small bars and clubs that only had a few Korean dudes, and they loved when we came in because we would order the over the top drinks (like stuff they would set on fire) and put banging American music like this on their sound system. We'd throw back the flaming Dr. Pepper drinks like pros and get the places pumping and people would start flooding in from the streets to see why the hell the place was exploding suddenly. We tell them all lies to impress them, like saying we were from NYC or LA. By the time I wandered into the bathroom for my second leak, the room was spinning. I'd splash some water on my face, shake off the hard buzz, straighten up, and go back out for more.
Then the next weekend, we'd pick somewhere else. We didn't always get wasted, but just a couple drinks and we had the place hanging all over our every move. Good times. Wish I could figure out where Strachan and Valenica ended up.
I was very sheltered throughout school and never made many friends, never went to parties or anything. I'm overall happy with who I am now, but I really feel like my parents made me miss out on a ton in what should have been the best years of my life...

Imagine going to sleep on the couch in 2021, and then this wakes you up. You walk up and open the door, and the misic blasts in your face. You smell the smell of teenagers and party food and everything that made this decade the time of your life.
wake up
IDIOT
wanna make me cry? :(
What's happening?
the smell of teenagers? NONCE
I was just a kid back then but hearing all these songs definitely took me back 🥲
Accurately same
Yeah, I was like 7 that time
@@_No_Naem_ fr
@@_No_Naem_ Exactly. Times changed so drastically.
Damn right same here
you know what this feels like to me? it feels like I'm listening to myself back when all this music was trending and I'm just witnessing it since time has moved on. It makes me miss it and want to go back. Its like I'm next to a wall and behind that wall, is my younger self back in high school and living in that era, and I cant look or go over that wall. All I can do is listen and think about everything else that was going on in life around that time.
GUYSS YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS! LISTEN TO THIS AUDIO WHEN U ARE IN THE BATHROOM.Leave ur speaker outside the bathroom and just let it played,Don't forget to set the volume up
Oh ok bet
I have to find a time when I’ll be home alone and then I’ll go for it
I can’t hear it without feeling painful nostalgia.
Bruh the nostalgia, even though I never been to parties this just hits super hard on me. It just makes me feel how as a teenager I never actually go to enjoy life and that it was a complete waste :(
❤️❤️
me to.. im 18 and never visited any party, i just know these parties from American movies and tv shows... it's kinda sad
I feel that :(
Honestly, if I could get the 300 or so back I'd totally undo senior prom. Nothing necessarily bad about it, but so underwhelming that I'm sure I would've enjoyed the night as much if not more catching a movie or something lol. Maybe I'm just built different
@@dammypospisil it’s not sad I’m turning 19 next week and I’ve never gone to a party nor hard a single friend for the past decade :/
I get a bad stabbing pain in my chest when I hear these songs and memories come to mind. It's like my soul is being crushed.
Nothing will beat being a kid in the 2010s. Prime life and incredible music
The feeling of nostalgia is overwhelming😭
ikr 😭😭😭😭😭
We are closer to 2040 than we currently are from 2000
That is screwed up
i miss the early 2010's... peak internet and music era... life was so fun back then
2011 was just a different time. such a chill time.
it reminds me of the time you were at a party and went to the toilet and just stood there listening to the faint music and just thought about life before then doing a big sigh and decide to head back to everything but for those couple of seconds you felt free.
100% facts.
I tell myself: Don't worry about the future. Live in the present.
Makes me miss those times more.
i want to cry...2008-2013 was the best years of our generation of music and i was 6 and 11 years... at that time i already dreamed about when i will be grown i will go to party but now i'm 19 and...well i love cardi but...now its all about strip music, rap. I like it too but old (its so weirdo to realise that 2011 was 10 years ago) music still the best...anyways i'm depressed now :/
@@Pleasekillme12369 haha💘
I can understand you. I'm 18 and in 2011 - 2013 I used to dream about grow up and go to a party whit this music, but now I still in quarantine for Covid and that's so sad because the last time that I hang out with friends I was 17 and I will 19 in a month. I just wish that one day can go to a big party like what I always have dream.
@@pawlixd yess gurl we will go together🤣🥰 the best party ever cause i know when we will be 100% free, EVERYONE will do parties and it will be amazingg
Yeah I agree, the world was a lot happier back then, which kinda ties into the songs as well. The music out now is cool, but music like this definitely isn’t in fashion anymore. Thankfully though, music tends to circle in and out throughout the decades. So this kind of music will definitely see it’s return in the next 3+ years maybe. Or towards the end of this decade nearing the 2030’s, but in a more modern/revitalized kinda way
To me 2007 through 2014 music and media were so good but now the media today is not so good and the music I think is just average, maybe one day we’ll have those old vibes from back then one day.
I miss these precious memories. I graduated high school in 2011. The nostalgia is killing me.
Nostalgia of being in the car listening to the radio as a kid or being at a family party and hearing these songs were fun times.
im crying omg this is SO nostalgic I wish we could go back in time just to live those years again
❤️❤️
Same :(
I was in 21 in 2011 and it was so much fun back then. There was a sort of innocence to things and it was something we didn't appreciate enough.
We lived through very different 2011s.
I was 11 in 2011. You’re in your 30s now. Time flew by so fast wow.
Same! And yes I agree.
I was a young kid with not a worry in the fucking world vibing to these songs on my iPod touch...what a time to be alive.
I’m literally feeling emotions that I can barely even describe.. it’s just incredible how those years were so fine even if I was just a kid then…
It's 3:48 am. I should be sleeping, but I'm dancing to this gem alone in my room instead. I miss partying so much..
❤️❤️
im sad.. because i don't have many friend and never been to parties... im 18, but nostalgia is here and i feel it, even i have never experienced that..
@@dammypospisil same story here bro
@@dammypospisil Just described my life, thanks.
Exactly 3:00 am here
Me and my two siblings were huge fans of LMFAO. I really miss those days.
it is sad that this group will prolly never make music anymore... even redfoo stopped making music, which is sad
bro, your videos hit different! please never stop doing em.... 2011 i was 15 yo, about to graduate the next year. spending the day in the skatepark and then playing call of duty the whole weekend with the boys. Man, those were the days
🙌🏼❤️
This was back when life was simple. Im 18 right now so I was a kid back when these songs came out. If I had only one wish I would wish to go back to my childhood. I miss it so much, everything was so easy and so fun but right now I feel like I never really got to live it to my fullest :/ I graduated highschool this year and now I am in college, I realized that since I went to a private school I never got to expierence the full sends and funny moments all the other highschools got to expierence. I feel like I am missing out on everything in life.... I just want to go back to 2010 ;-;
BRO SAMEEE!!!!! Back then everything was good, pretty much nothing negative. it was 1st - 4th grade for me that were my star years. Music was for sure a big part of that time in retrospect, but mannnn I wanna go back to those times. :(((
I'm 18 too, I was a kid when these music was popular but they remind me so much of my brother because he was a teenager back in the days and he used to listen to this songs all day. I miss playing around with him.
You shouldn't feel bad for missing out or not living to the fullest, because you couldn't have know about it in time, plus you can always "live" more if you know what I mean. Don't feel bad that you didn't live life then. Instead live it now
Damn I'm 18 now I graduate in 5 months no clue what to do guess the military

don't cry guys :)
You are going to make me cry ;-;
I’m not fucking crying because this playlist is trash. Where in the fuck is superbass??
This reminds me of little middle school dances and highschool dances so much and makes me feel so warm and nostalgic 🥰🥰
All of you in the comments here who have so many good memories from the early 2000's...man I'm not sure it will ever be as good. It's still comforting to know that we will hold these feelings for the rest of our lives.
god how was 2011 10 years ago, that's insane. i wish i could go back, things were so much more fun.
YESSSSS!!!!
I miss 2011 so much
Time Waits for no-one my friend..
Even though I was only 13 in 2011, I can honestly say that 2011 was the Best year of the 2010s in terms of music and pop culture
Same. I was 12. It was my favorite year in music. Probably in life too tbh.
I was 18 then, studying Chinese language in Beijing and partying every week! What a time
Not only do these songs take me back to middle school, but these specific versions take me so directly back I'm practically at my 6th grade dance again, standing outside of the gym
As a 2006 person, i've been in some parties with my parents between 2011.
I can assure you that the exact same songs in this video were playing, and it brings up so much memories. Thanks for making this man.
Man that's crazy. The fact that you were born in 2006 and you're already probably like 15ish trips me out so hard lol
