Thank you both for this chat, you are both kind and humble souls. Real blessings to draw more people to a WFPBD..❤😊
Great interview. What a sweet woman! I watch Ami AKA Broccoli Mum every day and feel she is one of the best in showing that she actually does eat an abundance of food. She makes it real! I look forward to your interview with her!!!
Watching from northern Maine here! Diagnosed with MS in 2014 and just started intermittent fasting three weeks ago, so very interesting in hearing more about WFPB diet with Kimberly!
Hi Jennifer! She was such a great guest!
Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
This is really close to my heart because I got lucky enough to have a doctor who recommended that I switch to another general practitioner so that she could advise me nutritionally AS A FRIEND, because I had mentioned my wfpb switch. She didn't want to make herself vulnerable to a lawsuit and there was a dr shortage here so it wouldn't interfere with her income if I left her practice. I turned out not to need her guidance but I was so touched by our conversation about this that I knew I must be on the right track
Oh wow - that's amazing, but sad that she was worried about it. So glad this was helpful for you!!!
I love your videos. As a caring physician, we often need to treat debilitating pain and other conditions with evidence based medicine. As we investigate, and do what we can in the moment, we often need to start with medication’s, this is also often at patient’s request, and even when given alternatives, this is the choice that they make. Often though these medications are very helpful for the majority of patients .
I just wanted to state this as I often hear things like “don’t get me started about doctors “and referring to physicians treating patients as “guinea pigs “.
I would appreciate the same respect you give to other professions, we go into this profession, trying to help people are generally caring people who want the best for our patients.
Thank you
Thank you for this Carmen - I understand I'm painting a lot of the medical community with a stereotype here and that's not fair. I will be more objective in the future - thank you for calling us out on this.
Great content- as always. Thank you both so much for sharing and working for the better of all 👍
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for this video! I’m sharing with a friend whose situation sounds very similar. I’m hoping this testimony might work in their heart.
I hope so too!
I'm sorry you have suffered so much, I have my own journey and can relate to you. CRPS, non-diabetic Charcoal foot where the bones fracture in your feet and fall out the
bottom, lupus, mix connective tissue disease , Hashimoto's Etc.
I have overcome most these as well, through WFPB diet, reduction of stress, healthier living environment and using food as medicine to eliminate inflammation! I've lost a lot of weight and I'm off most of my medications.
I am studying to be a health and wellness coach as well, hoping to help others.
Thank you for sharing with us. 💗
Thank YOU for sharing!!!!
That's fantastic! It feels amazing, doesn't it!?!? Best wishes on your studies :)
❤ i think you just saves my life & created a life for my kids. In the weirdest way I have been brought here.
Oh wow. What a statement. What about this video makes you say that??
Somebody with the federal gov. Helped me get this video sent to my phone because I'm sick all the time. And my kids need me
Great interview. Love the versatility of your channel Jeremy. Will be fantastic to see Ami next week. She is fabbbbb ❤❤
Thanks! We try to switch it up over here from time to time!
Loved this interview! Proves the power of plants!
All of this is great. You can also be a health coach while disabled!
..... this is true! Sorry to imply the opposite.
Crap,I stayed up and thought this would go live 20:00 your time (here it’s 02) 😂 I see it was 20:00 MY time! 😂🤪 I’m so sorry I missed it! 😢 Really excited to watch it now, though! THANK you SO much, guys, for taking the time doing this!!! 😃❤️
Oh no! So sorry to hear that! It was hours ago!!!
Fabulous interview! Love your channel!
Thanks so much!
Nothing Tastes as good as feeling good feels. I set firm boundaries with my family. Food is how I treat my diabetes it is my medicine.
Yes!!!!
Very inspirational and helpful!!!! Thank you!!!!❤
❤
I hope this helps people who are ill. I have a few friends who are suffering, but don't want to hear that diet can make changes.
Same!!
Awesome interview! What an amazing story!!!
❤
So glad Kimberly is feeling better and thriving with her new diet and lifestyle and now sharing it with all of us! We can and do learn so much from each other. It’s so important to spread the word. I just pray that more people will listen and make changes because our personal health and the health of our planet depend on it. Thanks to you and Kimberly for this presentation ❤
My pleasure - she's fantastic!
@@pbwithjeremy I looked up the bread recipe she uses from Anthony William, Medical Medium on his website and it looks easy and delicious. I reserved 2 books of his from my library.
Nice!@@vi3472
@vi3472 agreed! We have to keep spreading the word. Thank you, Jeremey for helping to do this! So many are unaware of the implications of the Standard American Diet as well as the high use of pharmaceuticals. We simply aren't taught how we can use certain fruits, vegetables and herbs to heal. Best wishes!
My pleasure! Thanks for being part of our community :)
Thankyou one if the things that resonated was that you need therapeutic doses of vegetables to heal. Very helpful.
Absolutely! And they're tasty!!!
❤
Find and try resources that work for you. Cooking and veganize favorite family recipes help me get healthier and substain this lifestyle. I didn't force people to eat this way... I let the yummy food convince them to try it. ❤ to all.
That's my approach too - thanks for sharing!
. . . couldn't help but thank you, Jeremy, so much, for this great interview...just really couldn't enjoy her fully bcz of the in & out audio...kind of disappointing...again, thx so much for your hard work for so many...& God Bless You & Your Precious Familia...🥰🥰🥰
My pleasure! But wait - was there audio cutting in and out? It sounded okay on my end. Oh no!!!!
@@pbwithjeremy . . . maybe bcz she kept looking down at the end of most of her sentences...but great vid anyway...thx & God Bless...🥰
The audio was ok. Was able to hear both. I do wish there was a way to balance both speaker's microphones so they match in volume.
Yeah - hard to do on a live, sadly.
Wow - just wow! Incidentally, I had no problems with the audio - a tiny bit of echo a couple of times on Kimberley's side, but nothing you couldn't hear through and nothing that detracted from the message. My daughter no. 3 had a bad time for a while with severe abdominal pain. she was tested up down and sideways for all manner of things, mainly gynaecological, but in the end the docs suggested eliminating things from her diet. Cutting out soy made no difference at all but 3 days into cutting out gluten and she was suddenly pain-free and has remained so, barring accidents. We have also since discovered that she is majorly lactose intolerant, though whether that is a result of being vegan for so many years and then lapsing a little, we don't know. I do know that after a sever bout of glandular fever (do you call it mono?) which put her in bed for the best part of 9 months at age 16, she was never quite the same afterwards. Sorry if this is too long.🙂
Hi there! So, yes you are right. Glandular fever is mono, or rather, Epstein Barr Virus. We tend to get these when we are young and they become chronic and then get reactivated. Things like industrialized soy or corn, dairy products, and gluten feed these pathogens so it makes sense your daughter saw improvement once they were removed. When it's a really tough case specific healing foods can be brought in at therapeutic doses to help. A few are wild blueberries, spinach, potatoes, sweet potatoes, parsley, papaya and more. Do not limit fruits. Another thing I usually have my clients bring in is antivirals if their doctor is on board. There are many supplements like Golden Seal and Lemon Balm (but they have to be high quality otherwise you are fueling the fire) but which one depends on what stage the person is in. Sometimes there is a greater pathogenic load than what was tested for and you can manipulate your WFPB diet to address this. All my best, Kim
I want to apologize. I commented on your children's, well, chewing. I'm so sorry. I'm starting to really like your channel. I feel really bad. I understand that their thing. I'm also impressed that you commented back on an old video. Keep up the good work. Thank you, Sharon Webb
Of course. Also - I appreciate this. We've certainly let the kids know about the feedback and they've been a lot better, but I'll take an honest pure reaction from them when their mouths maybe a little open over not getting it at all, you know? We try to make them aware, and they often catch themselves. Don't feel bad at all - love that you've stuck with us. You rock!
I would love to here your wives story.
I'll see if she's up for it one day. I think she doesn't love talking about it.
What is that loopy thing over your door way?
Oh - ha!!! That's a streamer that my daughter put up at some point.
Im not loosing any weight on wfpb what am i doing wrong. Feeling down about it.
I’d need more information to give any real advice. What’s a typical day of eating and movement look like for you? Also what’s your age and how much weight do you think you potentially have to lose?
Do you have any symptoms now or are you completely symptom free ?
I'll leave this for Kim, but I believe she is largely, if not entirely, symptom free...
I haven't had any problems since I revamped everything in late 2019. I gave my wheel chair and motorized scooter away 3 years ago and threw my walker away 2 years ago. The reason I didn't get rid of them sooner was fear. I have since realized that I was holding on to a fear that I could let go of because I have the tools to prevent it and treat it.
@@kimberlyeallonardo9236 are u familiar with Dr Brooke Goldner. She has a similar story in that she healed herself with greens and chia seeds in smoothies. She is well known in the WFPB world and has a youtube channel.
Link?
@@pbwithjeremy youtube doesnt allow links but a search for her name will bring up her videos
Hi, Jeremy, I think her connection was bad. It was hard understanding her. We can hear you very clearly, but I could only watch for a few minutes because her words were not clear a lot of the times.
Sorry to hear that. Thanks for the feedback.
But the picture of her in the wheelchair compared to now is so wonderful and inspiring. We’ve been plant based for three years, and I know this is a beautiful and correct path. So thank you for the content 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
You're welcome!@@lovedogs1343
Doctors don’t want you to be sick so they can make money. What a terrible thing to say. I like your channel but just no.
I think I corrected myself after - obviously doctors are crucial and very important - but the medical profession is about fixing problem with health after the fact, not about preventing problems, in my experience. Hence the lack of education on nutrition, etc.... in medical schools. Hopefully it's getting better.
