Crunchy Black on Three 6 Mafia, Getting Shot, Leaving the Group, "Glad" (Full Interview)

- Crunchy Black came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started out by speaking about essentially growing up without parents after his mother had him in prison and his father wasn't in his life. Crunchy went on to detail how he met DJ Paul and later formed Three 6 Mafia along with Juicy J, Gangsta Boo, Koopsta, and the other members. After speaking about the successes that the group saw, Crunchy explained why members of the group left at various times, including himself, which he said had to do with feeling like he wasn't appreciated. While telling his crazy story, including being shot, Crunchy went viral for calling DJ Vlad "Glad" for the entirety of the interview, which you can check out above.

I'm always a bit confused as to whether Crunchy won one as well. Because when you look at pictures from the Oscars, you only ever see 3 statues, one for Paul, one for Juicy and one for Frayser Boy. Which makes sense because only those 3 had writing credits for the song. But I think there was an interview where Crunchy said he sold his Oscar, so I guess he did eventhough he didn't really have a credit on the song (or maybe I'm misremembering this). So it's strange.

You can tell this a genuine dude who just had a rough childhood. When Vlad was talking about when he was falling off with the group, he kept it genuine. Saying that he should’ve talk to them. Admitting that it could’ve been his fault. He keeps mentioning Paul and that he changed his life. Even though he had problems with him at one point, he never threw dirt on his name. Solid dude
It's definitely a quality that this country needs so much more of. When Crunchy Black is one of the best examples I've seen in a while of a good human quality to have. The country is definitely going off the rails and that's not to disparage crunchy at all. America is just in a really bad place right now.
