Thanks very much for this. Fascinating. I regularly hear reactors talking about what a pain editiing for copyright is. In this video I really get it now. You consisstently put out high quality reactions. And I thank you for all that tedious hard work you do to presetn this. Much appreciated.
Well done. First time (for me anyway) that someone has taken the time to explain for their audience how and why some song/performances are blocked or copyrighted and the efforts it takes to try and remedy the situation. Also this was explained in a straightforward and understandable manner. Thanks.
For sure! There’s a lot of videos on how to dispute and appeal blocked videos, but I didn’t really try trimming out sections until somewhat recently, and I think that’s the best workaround available at the moment 👍
Thanks for the "tutorial" on what content creators deal with...very interesting! And thank y9u for making the blocked content available on your Patreon, much appreciated!
👍Very interesting, thanks. A reactor's life is not easy. These blocks seem so random. I follow one reactor who eventually gets his reactions posted. He does not pause to comment or cut his videos. His channel is not monetized though. Again, thanks for your hard work and informative reactions. 🖖❤
This was actually really interesting. Doing all this must be hairpullingly frustrating. Amuse is a baffling company. Babymetal is as successful as they are in spite of Amuse, not because of them. They do so many things that actually hinder Babymetal expanding their reach.
Thanks for this and explaining what you try and have to do to get your reactions posted. Keep going, your reactions are great quality and always really interesting.🤘
Seems my comment got blocked, I was saying: The best to react to (based on my guess): Legend 1997 and Budokan Black Night 2014 (not Red Night). These are earlier DVD/Blu-rays and have been sold so many times and they are sold so cheap now, it's basically promotional material. I guess the others would be Legend IDZ shows, which are even earlier, but most of that is without the Kami band. The newer the performance, the less Blu-rays sold, so they still want to keep it of the Internet more and thus are much more likely being blocked. Where you are when you upload, the country of your TH-cam channel, etc. all matters on how much is blocked and in which countries. Their are multiple distributors of Babymetal stuff around the world. And an issue with Babymetal is similar to many Japanese companies, the copyright law in Japan has no exception for fair use, so companies in Japan can just take everything if they want. PS can you imagine how annoying this is without the trim feature ? This was a feature made available to smaller creators only in recent years, but has existed in some forms (I've heard of a channel which needed a video start intro music removed and TH-cam did it for them) for maybe over 10 years. I'm certain it's in part because of the costs associated with it.
I watched a reaction video that was about 6 years old. The reactor showed the copywrite claim screen and there were over 70 claims for one video. He said he had no idea who the majority of them were. 🖖❤
@@IAMisLove that's just crazy ! TH-cam also has an other problem: companies making claims for things they don't own. Or are really generic sounds uploaded to the TH-cam Copyright ID system
Not denying that this is a PITA, but to be honest, they give you more information and tools than I would have expected. I actually thought they'd give you nothing and have you try by yourself to find out how to get around it.
Insightful! Sorry you have to deal with so much craziness for us to enjoy good reactions! Dumb question, would a watermark/logo work? I know it sucks but we’re all quite used to it for obvious reasons.
I think the water marks would help, but it would still get flagged for the audio. I’ve seen a couple videos with water marks where they’re really dark, and it makes it hard to see what’s happening with the live performance. I guess I could try it at some point, but really not a fan of those.

Thank you for going through all of this. I really enjoy your channel. And your Vocal Covers are AMAZING! 🔥
Appreciate that!! Thanks! 🤘
Thanks for these insights!

AND you have to remember: trimming used to not exist, which is why videos get re-uploaded often, etc. in the past.
For sure! 🤘

For real! Most of it seems completely unnecessary as well!

Wow! What a hassle! Very interesting. Thanks for posting.

Yeah it’s very tedious, but thankfully it’s evolving and there’s work around platforms like Patreon 🤘👍

Yeah TH-cams whole studio setting is very sophisticated at this point thankfully!
thanks for this video, really good insights. Love your work.

@@jarongeil-vocalcovers2484 I hear ya, and I'm no TH-cam expert (just play one on TV 😆).
