That aviary looks super cool! I have a hard time identifying the different hummers in our area. We mostly have Allen’s and Anna’s, but there is a rare Rufous that is in our yard and now, after seeing this video, I think there’s a Black chinned as well. I have 7 feeders in the backyard and two in the front. We’ve had wild fires in the local mountains and I think a lot of birds are displaced and coming down here to get food and away from the smoke. I heard a Great Horned Owl this morning also! Always a treat! I loved that vulture, what a cutie! We are in OC, CA.
As for water-birds / shorebirds, in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR, Singapore 🇸🇬, and Malaysia 🇲🇾 shore banks, riverside, mudflats, one can see the White-breasted Waterhen picking or searching for crustaceans.
The Red-winged Blackbird is “considered” pretty aggressive in California, not only do they fly in huge flocks, but they do attack anyone during mating season. That is what I understand and heard during my college days back in the 80s ! 🤔🤔🤔
In and around my area in the New Territories of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR, I occasionally see the Chinese Blackbirds. By the way, I heard about the California gulls are very aggressive when it comes to snatching food as they eat just about anything that is yummy to them. Please correct me if I am mistaken…… 🤔

Really cool! Hope I can get to see an Anna’s and Allen’s hummingbird someday!
Congrats on 93 for your first Big Day! I got 81 here in central Alberta - lots of travelling for me too! 😊
81 is an awesome day as well! Global big day is the best
Epic adventure and awesome video! Thanks for driving us all over the place haha.
Think my foot was cramping up at the end from using the brake and gas all day 😅
Still a day I will remember for a while
Yay!!!
You helped me get to 93!
93 species in one day! Fantastic!
I know! Wasn’t 100 but still very pleased

I’ve never seen them attack people but they definitely are territorial
Nice video👍
Thank you 🙌🏻
93 birds on a daily checklist is still an awesome day!
I agree! Super happy with the day even without breaking 100
Good video Thanks
Speaking of “chickadee”, in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR, I see the Cinerious Tit on a weekly basis.
