WOW ! I am already excited to see what shore birds you can find since the beginning of your video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻In and around the New Territories of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR where I live, we have the Lesser Egrets, White Wagtail, Grey Wagtail, Greater Coucal and the White Breasted Waterhen. In addition to shorebirds, common visitors are the Red-billed Blue Magpies and the Crested Myna who like to bathe in the estuary nearby.
By the way, in the far areas of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR New Territories, there is a bird sanctuary called, MAI PO BIRD SANCTUARY. It is NOT a free-for-all area for birders, but they only offer registration for specific educational tours, and NOT for individuals to freely walk-ins. But there are lots of migratory birds as well as shore birds.
Some cracking local Birding today in the UK. An American Golden Plover was found at Coveney Byall Fen next to the Ouse Washes. It was a first summer plumage. The walk had singing Corn Buntings and Snipe along the way. I then headed over to NWT Weeting Heath to find Spotted Flycatcher but no luck but had great views of Stone Curlew with their Chicks. Later on I nearly stepped on a basking Grass Snake and this evening on another area on the Ouse Washes i heard 2 Corncrake a Bittern and the accompanying sound of a Cuckoo.. Magical 😃 Really enjoying your videos. I've seen a Wilsons Phalarope at WWT Welney which is also part of the Ouse Washes. An ace Bird!
Wow! So many great birds along with antelope and bison. Now I've got to drive myself out to the island. Thanks for all the great pictures. Norbert or Norton for the squishy critter.
This video was epic! It's super cool to relive some of my birding days through your videos. Thanks for the shoutout too 😄
Thanks I appreciate it! It was a lot of fun! Of course!

Yes, definitely worth the trip out! Great names! Thanks for watching!
Great footage of the shorebirds. You could name the purple narwhal Moonbeam.
Thank you! Tough to focus with the rain! That's a great name!
I’m into reptiles never thought about birding but definitely considering it. Great video
Haha once you start you won’t be able to stop! Reptiles are really cool, you can combine hobbies! Today I was birding and a friend caught a snake!
Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR does not have owls (at least I haven’t seen any), but Singapore has Wood Owls and Scops Owls. 🦉🦉🦉🦉🦉
Oh wow, those would be some awesome owl species to see!
Dig your content, keep up the good work☺️
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
The narwhal should be name "Narly".
I like it!! Narly the Narwhal!
