First Steps on the X32

- The first thing you need to master is the preamp/config section of the Behringer X32. In this video I go over in detail the preamp gain, phantom power, and even go into how to fix phasing and time issues with the X32.

Oh, just BTW - calling a polarity reversal switch "phase" is totally cool. 180° phase change is a reversal. Lots of gear refer to this function as "phase" Also, delay is not "phase" Delay changes the phase of each component of a signal differently, depending on the frequency. Really, its a small point. Your exposition skills are excellent. Well done. I'll check out your other vids. I'm thinking of cashing out my StudioLive 32.4.2AI for an X32
I’ve actually been torn between the x32 and the new studiolive, but I’d have to go with a smaller studiolive to get the same price range. Anything in particular that would keep you from getting the newer version of studiolive?

Is it nessesary to use drive rack with x32
Drew, on the X32 is there a way of putting DCA's on a Bus?. eg. using a post fader bus for a Stream feed to a Matix, then to the Exention card O/P. Looking at putting all the Vocals on that bus through a DCA (+ all instruments through another DCA)..

I would like you to help me. I bought your pack of scenes for Behring x32 in January, but I see that it is configured only for the x32 model with 16 outputs, and I have a compact with 8 outputs. I would like you to help me try to configure it. it's for a church in Connecticut. I have tried to do the configuration but I can't
Great Job..... I've A question about While Patching the Two mic's for the snare-drum Do i Have to apply the polarity Button to both Microphones for it to sound/ be In phase?
No, only one. Can be either one. Try it both ways to see which gives you a more suitable sound. I usually reverse the bottom, but sometimes the top is the better one to reverse.

Polarity pfff *its PHASE*
BEWARE NOTE: Behringer has a major problem with its products documentation manuals in them using proprietary PDF X software, just has a nice long email session with them and this is my findings response: I believe the problem is you are using a proprietary PDF X software and it is a password protected doc. Most all pdf docs will open in acrobat pro and have full edit, but yours does not and has a password protection on if. I do not use any other PDF creation software, do to them not having the functions that Adobe Acrobat has and does such as copy, scan and insert functions that all others do not have. SO whoever created this manual in PDF X software, password protected this and all your other PDF docs created by it. SO yes your downloads for manuals are password protected by its creators. In conclusion this is a major problem, so no one can copy text or pics to create quick reference user notes to learn on using behringer products.

LOL that phase invert controversy strikes back again. "Manufacturers do it wrong for whole history of sound" 🤣 you say they label it wrong, but then talk about switching the polarity of wires. What happens, when you switch polarity of wires, when phantom is on? Do you know that? Sorry for that, but this is too controverse... 🙂 phase invert is right.
