I did use it for traveling and for a couple of outings. Worked great. Big enough to store extra layers in cold weather. Very comfortable with fairly heavy loads for an outing. Hope it had some type of compression straps on the front to prohibit the zippers fully open and utilize the zippers like top opening pack though you could add compression straps thanks to the loops all around the pack. I use Battleship, Halftrack, Warhammer, Terminator and Skycrane for my adventures and Eberlestock never ever failed on me. The only company I would invest my money on with no doubt. Great appreciation to Glen Eberle the founder of the company and the hard working staff.
This is the boat that I’m in. The Bandit is really good, but after just putting a couple of things in it, I feel like it’s too small. Additionally, it does not hold an iPad Pro very well. Super tight. And after you Velcro a handgun in there, it seems that the iPad could get damaged if they clanked together hard enough. I think that the Switchblade may be just the ticket.
Is there a rain cover you make or would recommend for this backpack? I bought the switchblade a few months ago and love it. Living in the pnw I need a good cover. Thanks for your help and amazing products!

Loved the bandit but was too small. Upgraded to the switchblade and never see me alone without it

How did u attach it to the F1? Do the shoulder straps come off the switchback?
@@dukhtr3yeah they come off the switchblade the same way they come off the the F1 mainframe. Eventually put them back on when I switch to a vapor.
I would love to see this exact same format review of the Bandit pack. I cant decide between this one or that one.

How come the green/gray model didn't get the attachment loops on the exterior?
It did for a long time, however most wanted a more "normal" look to the pack, so we offer select colors without MOLLE.
Any eta on switchblade restock in black and military green? Any distributors with either of these colors instock?

Is there Velcro in that pistol pocket ? How do you attach a holster
The pocket is tapered so the weapon or holstered weapon is held there in a "v" shape
