    I’d like to commission as prior E but my odds aren’t very good for a non-rated route through OTS… it’s kind of sad.

      @@ObvStar48 hey! I commissioned last fall. In pilot training now. It is achievable!

      @@CallsignOutdoors Congrats! Working towards it now, I'm currently in my junior year of college. If you don't mind what was your major and GPA? Just trying to get a general consensus of what's a good goal.

      @@ObvStar48 I had a 3.74 and Military History. Your degree to become a pilot (or aviator for that matter) doesn’t matter. Yes, GPA is important, but a good GPA or high AFOQT test scores do not encompass a good Officer. You need to make sure you are leading either in employment environment and/or school organizations. They select officers first, then the job second.
