@@WayneMescal It would have to be 50K and the standard silage muckspreading mowing and this year have been very involved with the Power Harrow for all the crops. Being Deere at heart and inside what I'd be willing to spend I'd I was thinking a 6920 or if I can squeeze a 6920s in budget. Would be helpful as by now a 10,20,30 series is like home I wouldn't need to learn anything and problems that are minor would be fixable by me downside being the age of all of them and possibly the fuel usage it would depend on what I was doing. On the other hand I've really connected with Deutz the last two years with a 6155 and 6215 both impressing aswell as the commitment from the dealer and now I'd have a 6215TTV over a Fendt 724 every day (That's my opposition so no matter what I buy I'm going to be weakest link when drawing) so in budget a M620 or M625/M640 if I can get a good deal somewhere. The only things that concern me are the gearbox as it just seems a bit clunky and the fact it would be a new learning curve for me. I think the biggest thing is the price I can get a 4-5 year newer Deutz with less hours and better condition for the same price as the Deere
@@harry.bethwaite A 7810 Ford is ancient tech compared to what you're looking at. A 6910 with a 50k box with the powershifts on the buttons is what you want, without even a second thought. Do you mind me asking what sorta age catagory you are as well?
@@jack8242 yeah bigger tyres and more revs. They're all geared the same otherwise. Mine only does 33k roughly as I wouldn't be a fan of over revving it. I hear the power steering pumps don't like the high revs either.
Hydraulics are good, lift is maybe not perfect on it but I don't have another 10 series to compare it to so I'm not sure. It'll lift first cut double bales no bother, struggles with second cut double bales as seen in a different video. Only one assistor ram on this particular 7810 but would like to get the bracket and ram from a dismantled tractor and fit it. I hear theres an O ring seal in the brake valve which goes in them which makes the lift weak so I must check that out over the winter.
@@WayneMescal fords don’t have the best hydraulics but they arnt too bad for there age like a 7610 wouldn’t lift the back door of a welder but at the same time the 7610 I’m referring to is in pretty rough shape, a 7810 would lift it no bother, they are able to lift a full Kane trailer no bother so they arnt the worst hydraulics
That’s the sort of tractor I want when I’m older I love those old fords
Ah you'll get one eventually, there's still a good number of them about.
Lovely lookin 7810 lad

I see you haven't fixed the sun roof yet😂 but it sounds so nice and it's my first time hearing it flat out too👌
Yeah I don't think the sunroof will be fixed for a while. There'll be more videos of it in the next few weeks. Thanks 👍
I love that one👍👍👍
Thanks 👍 more videos on the way
@@WayneMescal Thats great.👍👍
Nice to have you back uploading videos, is this Ford the one that you bought?
Yes, this is my own one :)
@@WayneMescal Was thinking about getting something for contacting and that, obviously won't be a 7810 would be the weakest link all day long 😂
@@harry.bethwaite ahhhh you'd be surprised. What sorta tractors were you thinking of buying? And what sort of work are you planning on doing?

Yeah just over 30k. I think they were all like that but idk maybe there's a few rare 40k ones

Are the hydraulics bad on her? Seems a lot of revs needed for lifting the arms

@@WayneMescal I though more power and bigger engine that there would be better hydraulics because more power going into the pump
@@jack8242 No it wouldn't make a difference now. They're just an old design of a tractor, not much to be done about it.
