Thanks, I prefer the head mount myself, I see other chest mount videos and you're just looking at the steering wheel I find....I want to use my magnet mount more alright, that works well and gives steady videos.
I'm wayne but anyway 😅 that's a good harvester yeah there's about 750hp in it as far as I know. Much faster than the 8600i before. This one's a 9500i. There was 600hp in the old harvester.
@@WayneMescal sorry wayne ive been watching u for a while just had a bit of a brain fart😂 yeah she certainly looks a step up, would she cover alot more ground than the 8600i in a day do you reckon?
No I do remember you commenting all the time it's just I remember you said Shane last time as well but I never took much notice last time. In grass not really but in maize yeah you cover more ground in the day. In grass you are just getting over the ground, maize has the big volume of material which needs to get though the harvester.
Does there be many lads you meet out there going solo for the grass season lad or is it few and far between? Fine rig you're driving there... I've been watching since 2017👍
Thanks John. Tis maybe a half and half split of fellas coming out by themselves and then the other half coming out with their friend or girlfriend. I might talk about it in a video soon, thinking of doing a bit of commentary for a while now.
It's all white diesel here but diesel vehicles pay road users tax which is charged by the distance you drive. I don't know what the contracting charges are, I don't be asking, but they're crazy high compared to Ireland. To rake-bale-wrap is close to like 25-30 euro a bale and then mowing is extra on top of that. Any work that's not by the bale is usually by the hour as well which is different from home. Tedding and mowing and things like that... The harvester is by the hour even and so are all the trailers. On maize the harvester is by the hectare but the trailers would still be by the hour. Even the jcb is by the hour. It's a very different way of thinking they have over here.
I hate the noise of it. Nothing better than listening to the machine you're driving anyway. You hear what's going on and will hear any problems early. Driving the jf harvester is especially nice and square baling as well. Radio broke in my car a few years ago and I've no notion of fixing it. Never used it. Probably seized up due to lack of use 😂
@@WayneMescal ah lad i know them jf's have a Lovely tune of them and it was the start of silage last year and are welger had a Problem were the baler did not beep when the bale was done and when the bale was done the fecking thing would just net so my neck was gone after that Field but then the thing just fixed Itself 😂
These trailers were all homemade by these guys, they're built to take on hills. Short and wide so they don't fall over. Also there's a lot of tight gates, they're easier to get in places.
Yeah that new one from a few videos back, we decided to keep that one, it went well this summer, I just didn't video too much of it because I already have videos up of it. I will try to find the time to take more videos next year.
Good to see no matter where you are in the world there's always boy racers acting the maggot lol
Thats such a random encounter xddd
Haha yeah a small bit
Looks like a race track when going on a hill like that
@@tombenton3020 There's a lot of banked gravel roads here too. The whole country is basically one big rally stage 😆
Great Video, Wayne I would suggest a chest mount the head mount is very Jerky! thanks for sharing

Is agri diesel any cheaper out there or does it work out the same how much do they charge per acre

@@WayneMescal tryed still would not fix it just netted with out letting me know but as i said it fixed it self the next time it was running Again
@Paddy6.30 you'd want to look into it now while things are quiet. It might not fix itself the next time.
Why do you guys have so small of wagons? Just curious

Did u buy another baler after the last one burned out

how long of a draw from field to pit was that run
10k each way
who are you carting for?
Hall&Wilson
do you prefer running the harvester or being a trailer man 😂
I never did the self propelled but I like running the jf more than anything else. Either that or square baling must be the best jobs.
