Love this play! Saw it in London in 2003...and now it seems a film is being made..Fingers crossed it is more successful than the Broadway run...the US success of Slumdog Millionaire may mean that American audiences have grown up enough to appreciate the genre.
Wow incredible.i watched and bought dvd back in the day lol 2005etc but always so inspired and finally got to dance a Bollywood dance in Japan for stage entertainment i was only white English girl but I loved it.
I saw it on Broadway and had high expectations. The casting was all wrong. The 2 leads were not bollywood-worthy actors. They were just plain-looking...
Pitch perfect while pouring the emotions into the melodies.... I just love Raza and Preeya.
I was enthralled throughout this wonderful show when I saw it in London. Purchased the CD. Play it often when doing physiotherapy at home.

I went to see this three times in London with the original cast, and would love it to come back! All the songs are beautiful
Saw it twice in London and once in New York. I'd go again if it every came back. Was on far too shorter time.
I feel the same way. The show was a delight. Wish it cold be revived.
I just love him singing this
Wonderful...such a colourful and cultural musical...wish it was still playing in London's West end.
Preeya Calidos Sings Loves never easy like no one else could ever do..truly beautiful voice..:)

Loved this musical.
It's one of the best musicals I have seen. Should have been more successful than it is.
This needs to be on DVD or BroadwayHD

Amazing singers! And the hero's "Aaja sanwariya" is so English, haha! Soundtrack of my childhood!
Yes his English accent on "Aaja sanwariya" is quite funny :)
I Love you Preeya Kalidas & Raza Jaffrey
