  • What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Iran?
I'm willing to bet that it's not anything positive.
Iran is a Pariah nation after all, under heavy sanctions and scrutiny from the international community.
In fact, Iran seems to be going out of its way to spite America and the west.
    Have you ever wondered why?
I present you with Iran's side of the story, the side you don't hear about in the western narrative.
Once you thoroughly understand Iran's history, I must ask:
    Can you blame them?

If you corner up a people (in this case Iranians) sooner or later you end up making them birth and extreme right or an extreme left government with an unstoppable ideology. This happened with germany too after world war I. When France and its allies won, they demanded insane compensations and put up severe restrictions on them in terms of military, economical industrial capabilities and even went far as occupying their industrial beating heart in Saarland. As a result, the German people were insanely impoverished and catapulted it into a third world country.

Its sad how the progress made by the Palavi dynasty just was erased and the county lost its progress to some extremist revolution
Edit:You are speaking about giving voting rights to women by Palhavi II as if it was something of a sin and speaking as if you support the religious misogynists

Good video but that picture of Ahmad Shah is wrong, you showed Ahmad Shah of Afghanistan, a revolutionary who fought against the Taliban, you should’ve used Ahmad Shah Qajar.

      eeh... nah, not really...
he said at the beginning of this video, that he's going to shine the light on the Iranian perspective ( the secular one tho , to be accurate)... that's been said, it's not balanced at all...
however, we (specially westerners) still can watch and recognise how Iranian perceive the world ( history, ideology...) differently than what the western media outlet (*propaganda) daily depict to its naive audience ( everyone is naive on that regard, to be fair ) ...
However, this video still needs to represent the official's pov (the orthodox one) to be completed.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary effort, and although I like this channel it’s far from non biased and 100% factual, that’s not me criticizing just a one time critique. If he really dug for more comprehensive details and narratives say, the ones that are historically accurate but often get glossed over, downplayed or get you censored for mentioning, then his channel would be in the proverbial doghouse with YTs algorithmic Gods.. unfortunately. That’s why channels like Infographics and The Armchair Historian have blown up, they give nice little dumb downed non controversial pre approved narratives/reinterpretations of stories etc. This is just the nature of our reality .

There are a lot of inaccuracies in your explanation about the Pahlavi Dynasty. They were not as bad as you describe them to be. Both kings did so much for Iran. More than any kings in Iran’s history. The economy was actually booming until the revolution, I don’t know where you read that it was failing.

    • @faarisjaber
      @faarisjaber ปีที่แล้ว

the economy went up but it didnt go to the people but it went to the usa and britian and the king so when the american/british coup happened the people lives got worse that is why many hate the usa and for good reason

This is certainly the point of view of the government, but almost all young people in Iran hate everything about their government and want to be closer to the west.

They dream about things they dont get in touch . many people in the west also cant stand the way the west change . people became more woke and throw away the love of the country the love of their own country flag ( im not joking they throw away their own country flag like trash ) being too strict is not good but giving too much freedom and throw away tradition and law like the west is also a no no .

You should talk about the Iranian Muslims and the Islamic revolution as if they were shias because the differences between them and the sunnis are too big to put them all together under category of Muslims.

    • @jacobblack2381

They're really not that much differences.Historical disagreements yes but looking at their islamic law and interpretation, there's really not that much difference. Both have virtually the same view on society.
