Oh you need to know that George arranged, produced and played instruments on all of his songs. He was a master at a young age. Listen to the WHAM song "Everything She Wants" and you will see just how amazing he was at a very early age. He wrote Careless Whisper on a bus when he was 17. Hard to believe but true. He has so, so many great songs and I hate that everyone stops at Careless Whisper or Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. I just came across George's song "You Know That I Want To". Talk about a sexy, jazzy chill vibe, man it is good! George, we miss you but hope you are in heaven with Anselmo, your mum Lesley, and little sis Melanie and that you are at peace.

George wrote the song when he was 17 years old. During a cinema programm, George thinks about his girlfriends and how easy it is to hurt them with a thoughtless comment. This is how he comes up with the lyrics to "CARELeSS WHISPER" On his way home in the bus, he has the idea for the mind-blowing sax melody. He doesn't know that he is writing a world hit. He records the song with Andrew and they play it at a party. Everyone is thrilled and the cassette with "careless whisper, Club Tropicana and Bad Boys" ends up at a record company 1981.The first record company said, "NO THANKS".
Not correct, andrew and george each wrote parts that fitted together. The first songs to the record company were: wham rap, club tropicana and careless whisper. Read andrews book
