    Thank you very much for your work and for sharing the video.. Ge'ez is a super powerful language that contains and hides many secrets and that connects us with our true nature, with the original archetypes and with The Creator.

    I acquired a ver old book. The St Louis Art museum believes it is a Ethiopian prayer book written in Ge ez from possiblythe 17th century?... would you be able to look at it?
    Please send me a pm.. if you can. I'm having trouble finding anyone who can verify the language and what the book is about....
    Thank you

    9:00 This is actually an outdated theory. The Semitic languages arrived in Ethiopia before the trading activities with Saba. The Ethio-Semitic languages are not descended from any known South Arabian languages nor are they any more closer to them than say Arabic or Hebrew. The Semitic migrants were also probably not as technologically advanced as you'd expect. Most basic agricultural and metallurgical terms in Ethio-Semitic have Cushitic origins. Also, Ezana converted to Christianity before the Romans did...

    Ge’ez is the oldest language so how can it be a semetic language? It’s actually the other way around semetic languages are descendants of Cushitic languages

    Wjo said geez is dead? Before you give an explanation about our lnguage you v yo know it well. Can you tell us if there is any difference between tigrinja or tigre and geez. You cant find a single difference. Why they call it tigrinja you v to know all the names of our ethnic. When we call by the name sebawian our language called sebaean, when we call by baharian then the language called it lisane baharian, when we call by the name kebasian or habesha our language called lisane habesha. The last one when we adopt the name hagarian or tahgarian then our language is called tigrinja. Geez is not a language. It is a standard form of our language used in the state and church

    Ge'ez is a dialect of Sabean. Sabean was of the first to evolve from kushic languages like Somali and Obeja primarily seemingly. Sabean inscription of Arabia and Yemen are comparable to those of Ethiopia and Eritrea. As we know those kingdom of ancient Arabia pre Islam where Afrakan as the linguistic traces show. The tribe of Ad is described as a jet black people of ancient Arabia.

      @@sinita7360 Saba or Queen of Sheba land and language of much of the horn of Afraka and Arabia 1000bc2ad. Monument and Inscriptions from the Hijaz to Yemen, Himyarite kingdom . Sabaic languages bridge the gap from kushic languages like Somali and Obeja to what are called semitic. Ge'ez features show it predates Akkadian, thus all the form of east semitic language which are all Afro asiatic. Their home land is Eritrea and Ethiopia. Compare lexicon of Ge'ez with it's descendants.

    • @malcolmking5023
      @malcolmking5023 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sinita7360 because she ain't and it's irrelevant. From Syria, to Yemen to Ethiopia there has been a long cultural religious and trading connection proven by linguistics and the people themselves. That's why the story of Queen of Sheba is jealously treasured in both lands and has been for over a thousand years. This is the history and language of the people I speak of. Compare Sabaic the earlier form of the same Ge'ez we speaking of. Then study features of Somali and see although little is known of Sabaic it comes from a kushic language. Which makes sense because other than Nubian it is not known of other languages in that region out that time.

    • @malcolmking5023
      @malcolmking5023 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@sinita7360 i never said no such thing and don't like being played with.
      I said Sabean evolved from Kushic. Then gave to examples of the kushic languages in the region one northern one southern. As best the evidence shows Sabaic languages are just an evolutionary stage out of being classified as kushic. Please at least research what I saying before commenting.
      So I state all semitic language are afro asiatic in origin with their homeland being region of Eritrea/Ethiopia.
      I state semitic language evolved from the older kushic languages in the horn of Afraka. Obeja is kushic and a modern example of a kushic language as is Somali. All Ethiopians that are well versed in the languages of their country will tell you all South Arabic language come from Ethiopia. So with exception of Farsi most languages associated with Western Asia are Ethiopic in origin. The is very clear. Sabaic first language or set of languages to evolve out of kushic languages in the horn of Afraka and went into to Asia, this why linguistic gave the label them afro asiatic. Hebrew Canaanite, Arabic Akkadian, but not Sumerian as for the evidence presents all Afro asiatic. Very simple understandable statement. If you don't understand I wish to end the dialogue.

    Use lots of conjecture based on some written historical information about the a people. Very daring. We have Ethiopian historians who have recorded history of our peoples. What makes you think that your expertise is more valid. The only truth I heard from you is the fact that migration did happen southward to Ethiopia. And those are the current Tigreans and Eritreans who actually migrated to Ethiopia, mostly after the break up of the Aksumite kingdom by Judith Gudit. They were merchants and remained in the northern part of the country, Akale guzai, Hamasein, Tigray region after the place was forsaken by the Aksumites who themselves migrated to today's Bete Amhara, Southern Wello, and Shewa.

      you're in denial. Amharic is barely related to Ge'ez. Compare basic Tigre/Tigringa vocabulary with Ge'ez and Amharic, if you aren't blind, you'll see the truth.
