    Not all tomboy girls grow up to be gay or trans, I was a tomboy as a kid, I'm not trans or gay. That seems like a modern thought, as when I was a kid that was never a thought, it was just something that some girls were & other are girly girls.

      This is true. I am a straight male and have been attracted to tomboys since I was born (a very long time ago!) My first gf (when I was 7!) was a tomboy and I have some very nice memories of another one. Tomboys rock!

Just because you have a club exclusively for apples, but make an overt point to exclude one type of apple, it doesn't mean you're against that type of apple. Also, and I know you'll disagree with me, but they brought it on themselves with all the crazy rhetoric the spill.       You're mostly right, although 'T' meant 'transsexuals' who were a small and vulnerable group, it was still ok and there are still feelings of solidarity between post-op transexuals and the gay community, it's only when we got the whole self gender identification, the weird reappearance of 'Q' word which to anyone gay is as bad as the 'N' word, and a lot of alphabet soup non-binary nonsense (from mostly a lot of entitled middle-class blokes) that the trouble started.

      Transgender people have been part of the community by necessity and commonality since the dawn of time, so I don't know what you're saying. Many trans people may discover their identity through the greater community, and there are of course Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Trans people too.

    Makes absolute sense. Cannot have a rational discussion with anyone who interprets disagreement as "hate". It is a bullying strategy which is working. It is very concerning to see major institutions, corporations, governments cave in to this kind of intimidation so easily and so fast.

    Why did he have to justify his organisation. No one asked cancer research if they are anti trans. If LBG want their own charity and movement that's up to them. LBGTQ+ covers it all.       Because the TQ are absolutely furious that LGB Alliance exists. They have, on many occasions, done everything they can to get funding cancelled and the Alliance shut down.
      They've also had people fired from their jobs for being a part of the organisation. Web search Allison Bailey.
      They want to explain their position, so that hopefully people will not instantly join the hive mind that claims that they hate trains people.

      The letters LGBTQ ‘appear’ to cover it all but organisations such as Stonewall who are supposed to be LGBTQ only ever focus on the T and everything thereafter.
      We as LGB people have had enough. I want to talk about being a same-sex attracted biological female and access the services and safe spaces I need without a Stonewall-backed blue haired kid telling me I’m transphobic if I don’t want to shag men in dresses and that a woman is anyone who says they’re a woman.

    Sex-based rights are indeed - at the very least - "in tension with" gender-based ones. But since sex is a real thing and gender is just made up, this doesn't matter.

      It could be argued that both are similar in that both face pullback due to anti advocate positions that highlight biological concerns. There is much disagreement that gays should raise children due to the concern that there is no biological mother. There is some validity to these arguments

That means it is now an explicitly homophobic organisation (in the old - than than NewSpeak - definition of that term).

    Why are many gay folks wanting to drop the TQ from LGB organization? Nothing against trans folks per se but some of the louder activists are turning me OFF!! Being told to use "They" pronoun and thinking it is ok for some big strapping man now claiming to be a woman and then signing up to compete in women's sports is looney tunes. Time the trans folks get their own organization

They are dragging people down with them what they ask is too heavy for society, nobody can hold them up without going to rock bottom with they/them+QXZP WHATEVER!!!

    I feel her is really articulated LGB aims. I think the trans-militant group doesn't want to have open discussions about the whole issue of people now being pressurised into having extremely evasive gender resignment. Watch the spiked discussions with Brendan O'Neil. I am 100% with the LGB alliance.

    I am 30 years ahead of this alliance in experience of female erasure. My ex husband went down cross sex path 1992, just after our second son was born. He wanted to be identified as "mama" or some other version of Mum. These individuals create their own linguistic, institutional and legal capture. Despite Kiera Bell and all those like her, who've been pressured to irreversible changes to their bodies, at young ages, they will never take responsibility for a bad diagnosis.

      Many hetero men are not affected by this whole gender stuff but large amount of heterosexual women have begun to suffer the effects of unfettered trans activism and self id. Read up on what happened to a woman at the Wi Spa in California after she reported a flasher who claimed to identify as a woman.     Very simply, all people deserve to be treated with respect however in saying that, sometimes you need separate groups to advocate for them properly. In this case, advocating for sexuality is separate to advocating for gender identity. Sometimes they overlap but not always and this means that you do need to be able to campaign without conflating the issues

      Many trans men have cervixes. Also - pretty much everyone has the cervix that attaches your head to your body (cervix meaning neck). Not all cis women have cervixes - having a cervix or not is not the deciding factor for if you're a woman.

Meanwhile, unlike biological women without cervixes - which comes with a whole host of its own issues and it’s understandable if people don’t want to date them either, it is healthy and normal for transwomen to not have them and for transmen to have them. Comparing the two cases is a false equivalence.
      Besides, you don’t even seem to be trans nor a women. Please stop speaking for those of us who are negatively impacted first hand by all the current toxic ideologies invading our spaces, thanks.
