If you are doing it in the classic game then yeah it will happen. The game registers it as something (forgot what it was exactly). In Sonic 3 AIR thats taken away.

No, its the knuckles one, but the player did'nt give the bot the chance to get to the top and trow bombs
Marble garden act 1 is actually a tails route Knuckles follows the normal path until act 2

The invisible wall is only in the classic version. It isn't in sonic 3 AIR

Never seen anyone do this in origins before. First time i ever discovered how to do this was on the original gendsis version
I tried it in origins & for some reason you can't really take the knuckles path as sonic & / or tails in hydrocity
Origins is a bad Sega product.
Sonic 3 AIR is a fan-remake of the original Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
