    A company that makes lures to catch largemouth bass told you black and blue was a bad color? Time to find a new company.

      it's not exactly a typical swimbait color (or any moving bait, really, how many black and blue crankbaits and spinnerbaits do you see around?)

    The big male bluegill in my pond turn black when they're on beds guarding so I use black then also.

      Great observation. Black/blue makes sense when crappies are up, and bullhead too for that matter.

    With all that bait it doesn't look like ther a whole lot of room left to stick the fish, is there a slot in the belly?

    • @jamesbarron1202
      @jamesbarron1202 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Huge hook slot on them

    • @Wired2Fish
      @Wired2Fish  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ron, as James mentioned, it's a slotted bait and soft too, so they compress down really nicely on the hookset.

    I personally really like sixgills rods and have several now. That said I thought the Fenrir was more of a flipping rod

      I agree I own 2 Akylos and I got them on the bogo, huge steal for the money. Just as good as my dobyns fury

    Six gill rods are terrible. I bought two on their BOGO. The first one broke the first week on a 5lb bass and the other one lasted around 6 months. Never again.
