The 1st ripple stitch I did, I had no multiple my grandmother showed me the stitch and explained about it but gave me no numbers, so I used all my scrap yarns to make a blanket she also forgot to mention about starting and ending of rows, took me about 6 inches before I saw what I had to do to make straight edges; when I finished the blanket it was about 6 feet long and my father claimed it and put on his couch to use himself he was proud of that blanket and showed everyone it, he used it to cover in winter because it was so warm, - it was done in single crochet
Looks like this will make a beautiful blanket but please tell me I wouldn't need to color control my yarn! I like watching the colors fall where they will in a self-striping yarn personally. I don't even like cutting my yarn unless there's a bad knot if I don't have to.
