    I love how you didn't waste pretty much everything from the oranges! 😍
    And question: what if you don't have jars? Will it work if you add it into a bowl and put gald wrap(or whatever people call it) over the bowl will that work the same? 🤔❤️🌺

    • @misswagashi
      @misswagashi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Thanks! Yes, this is a great way to use peels! If you don't have jars, keep the marmalade in plastic bags with zips and freeze them !

    Very interesting!
    Do you discard the membranes or would it help to include them with the seeds in the pectin bag?
    Can I leave the orange and sugar mixture overnight before the next step?
    Would it work if I use alternative sugar like coconut sugar or honey (with an adjustment of ratio to orange)?
    Why do you boil the orange skins twice for 3 minutes and not just once until skins are soft? I’m guessing you wish to remove any residue from the skin, correct? Do you lose some pectin doing this because I assume you discard the boiling water after?
    You just boil the final mixture until it thickens, do you need to test it with thermometer or other methods?
    Thanks, I like your method, just curious why the way you do it. 4:54

    My understanding is that the pecin is in the skin, not the seeds. That's why all other videos i watched never used the seeds.

    There is waaay too much white skin left on the rind. You have to remove all of it and that spares you cooking the rind twice.
