    Great video. hey, can you mix and match receivers with the UA844 distro? I mean, I have two ULXD4D G50 band and two ULXD4D V50 band. If you use two different bands receivers, what antenna will you use on UA844? I believe different bands have their own dedicated antennas, right?

      Hello and thanks for watching. From what I can see on the website, the ULXD's "G" band is in the 488.250-505.970 MHz frequency range and is compatible with the UA844+ Antenna Distribution. The "V" band is in the 180.250-197.500 MHz frequency range and seems to be compatible with the UA844+V Antenna Distribution. So I don't think any one model Antenna Distribution can cover both bands of microphones. I I do recommend that you consult with Shure technical support though.

    1 question, what are the mic models. Or which wireless mic are compatible to this Qlxd4 serie receiver.

    can you show me the antenna setup? How are you routing 8 total antenna cords to just 2 antennas i mean

    • @gfire_productions
      @gfire_productions  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure thing Peter. The antenna distribution is the Shure UA 844+ SWB. It provides DC power for up to 4 microphones eliminating the power supply for each microphone and provides antenna signal for up to 4 microphones. Now it does have a fifth set of antenna outs but it's usually for cascading to the next antenna distro to continue adding more microphones to your rack. In my case I have 4 microphones powered by the antenna distro and all four microphones get their antenna signal through this unit. This way I only need to plug in the antenna distro and have only two antennas sticking up to square away 4 microphones. I hope this is understandable sir and helpful. I showed it here in this video: th-cam.com/video/xpe8h28t_AY/w-d-xo.html

    Do the network wifi router make a big difference?

    • @gfire_productions

      Hello DJ Elements and thank you for watching. The network router makes a huge difference in a more secure connection with my tablet or MAC to my Behringer XR18 because the built in Wi-Fi in my opinion is seriously limited. As far as networking the microphones, from a DJ perspective it is not necessary. I regularly I am involved in multiple microphone set ups and sometimes Live sound. What it does for me is allow me to quickly use any one mic to scan all of the microphones together so I can move on to other task when setting up for bands. Through the network router I am also able to use a program called Workbench to monitor activity on my microphones but again I only do that when I am operating in live sound. Does this answer your question DJ Elements?

      Thanks for watching Noel. This may be too busy for what you do however in my applications is perfect. I regularly perform with small bands and alarm video production companies so this is a great supplement for the overall outcome. Do you run the sound for bands?
