    Concerning the headphone jack. Can you cue 5/6 ( iPad in my case)while playing 3/4 ( controller) ? If not what is the headphone jack purpose

    • @gfire_productions
      @gfire_productions 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This mixer is very basic so I was not able to cue. The head phone jack is nothing more than a monitor source. It's also good when I mixing light at night and can't use speakers so I can use headphones instead. Now when I'm live I don't use head phones unless I really need to. The larger mixers like the Yamaha MG 12 and up has the ability to pre-fader listen(PFL). On a mixer, PFL and cue are the same thing. Some desks will have it labelled as PFL, while others will label it as cue. They perform the same function on both broadcast and live mixing desks.

    My only suggestion(s) for this rig is to Replace All the cables, (XLR, Cat 5, BNC and IEC power), with Right Angle Cables. This will save space And reduce "Stress" on cable ends. Get rid of the Gaffer's tape & shorten the cables. Nice rig.

    • @gfire_productions
      @gfire_productions 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hello and thanks for watching my friend. Those are all great suggestions and I have made some adjustments since this video. Right now my power brick for the Behringer no longer has gaff tape across it in the back it now has heavy duty Velcro attached to the box and the bottom of the power brick. I currently have someone making shorter cat5E cables for me since I suck at it (lol). The BNC cables are not a problem because I have been able to cascade out of the antenna distro to another one with no issues. Lastly I elected to leave the microphone audio cables at 3 feet because sometimes I do a bridge out of the box to the side to a x32 to compact. Am I testing of 90° angle cables they sometimes block other outputs on the mixer so I don't use it. The case also has enough clearance on the top lid where they do not cross the cables are stressed them out. I don't like how you think though. I get many great ideas from people like you and time incorporate what works best for me at the moment.

Agora temos que considerar que o alto-falante de 8 polegadas é bem menor por isso não tem um woofer muito grande e o fato de ser apenas um woofer não se compara muito com modelos como o JBL Partybox Ultimate. I do not approve of these…they still catch things on fire and are actually hot, they contain titanium, and emit dangerous chemicals. They illegal in quite a few places. All cold spark machines function the same exact way no matter if its a cheap Chinese knockoff or a name brand machine. Essentially they take in a powder mix of Titanium and Zirconium, send it through a convection heater at around 600 degrees C, and blow it up into the air. The real questions that we need to ask are as follows: Do these machines have safety features built in such as tip over detectors and overheat sensors with emergency shutdown? Are they being controlled with a hardware controller that gives you realtime feedback? Also are these machines certified with the NFPA? Do they have an NRTL mark? Are they designed to be compliant with NFPA code 70? In addition to the machine design are they insured from the manufacturer and does the manufacturer require its operators to take a class and become certified? Do you have a class D fire extinguisher on site which is designed specifically to extinguish combustable metal fires? Does your insurance cover the use of pyrotechnics? Have you contacted the local fire marshall to inquire about pulling permits prior to the event? Is there a safety plan in place?

      I don't see why you couldn't use this with windows. In general, mixers or audio interfaces with usb out can connect to Mac or PC as an audio source. I don't use PC so I don't know how to get one to recognize the mixer as an audio source so you'll have to check you computers audio input and output accordingly. Otherwise Zoom is pretty much the same in both PC and MAC. I hop this helps.

    Nice video I've had my R70 for 25 years and in storage for a while, and when I pulled it back out I had to deal with a foam insert of the case that crumbled. Lots of cleaning. When started , low battery warning. My TD8 also uses a 2032 battery and have been thru the process with that. Your process of removing the 2 cables and the mb, makes it easier. After putting the mb back in place, and now knowing where the battery is, it may be possibly to pop and replace the battery without removing the mb
