Anytime I am feeling a little down this is my go to video. You can't help but smile. The bloopers just make fall out laughing. From what has been mentioned, there were several bottles of wine involved in the making of said video. Kirsten, Scott and Mitch, as all good choir nerds do, love nothing better than to see who can sing most off key. Hence the bloopers. 😂😂😂 Thank you so much for brightening my evening. Peace🤗
I think I will be joining you and watching this whenever I can use a little pick me up. My face hurt from all the laughing!! It's a truly fantastic medley and the bloopers are simply -chefs kiss- Thank you for this comment, it made me smile 💜
@@VetMedCorner She forgot to mention when Mitch was singing let it go and they threw the paper and he broke character. he had no idea they were going to do that so it was an actual laugh that he did
As a singer myself, I can confirm it is extremely HARD to sing BAD in purpose when you’re trained to sing well. This was SO funny and absolutely proves how very talented they are.
@@VetMedCorner he kind of lost it the first 2 times. By the third he had it down. I absolutely lost it when they were doing their bloopers (I'd say quite hammered at that point) and Scott lost it when Mitch did the "zing" at the end. My face hurt from all the laughing!!! Those bloopers were absolutely the best. I'm so glad that you found VMC - I am a veterinarian who usually does educational videos, but once/month I do a music reaction video as a mental health break. I look forward to these videos and enjoy them so very much! It's such a great change of pace. Happy holidays!
@@VetMedCorner my uncle was a vet. He's retired but still gives good advice. You can see the chemistry between the three friends who have been singing together for half of their lives. Kirstin has sung on Broadway. You should listen to their two newest videos, Last Christmas and Christmas In Our Hearts.
love superfruit!! If you’re ever having a bad day/week, checking out any of their skits or covers/original music even just in your own time always makes your day better :) some recommendations are their evolution of lady gaga, Beyoncé medley, and if you really want to laugh, hip hop goes Broadway parts 1 and 2 are hilarious 😂

I do so love it when you react to PTX-related content. Superfruit is a gem, both the vlogs and the music. Scott and Mitch doing couples yoga is a hoot, and Hip Hop Goes Broadway I and II is almost indescribable. Always wait for the bloopers following the Subscribe card, though. Thank you for the suggestion - I truly appreciate it. Couples yoga sounds absolutely brilliantly hilarious 😅 and I think someone else recommended Hip Hop goes Broadway, so I absolutely need to add those to my list. All the best for you and yours as well 💜
This is just so much fun to watch! It amazes me that Mitch is such a trooper, even after he broke up while they were throwing the confetti at him, he quickly got back into character and stayed there for the rest of the song. Speaking of Disney princesses - one of the latest PTX videos is Christmas In Our Hearts feat. Lea Salonga - who actually is not one, but TWO Disney princesses, providing the singing voice for both Jasmine (Aladdin) and Mulan. And there's a part where she and Kirstie trade off the lead, and it's kind of hard to tell if you just listen without looking at the video.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time 😂 Thank you so much for the suggestion, it sounds fantastic and I have added it to my list!
You really seem to look rested and in good spirits! So nice to see that! This one is so fun! It always brightens my mood! They certainly know how to have fun! Thank you for sharing your reaction with us! Very fun!
My face hurt after all the laughing 🤣 I am grateful to have not had an entirely disastrous last two weeks, and I get to spend some time over the next week with my partner, so I am doing my best to focus on that! I hope that your weekend is a good one - thank you for your lovely comment!
They began the evening at least slightly drunk and continued having cocktails between scenes, so by the end they were thoroughly snookered. SuperFruit usually has a blooper reel at the end; always check for it. The off-key singing is a game they've been playing together since high school, trying to see who can sing most off-key, without laughing. Kirstie lost this round by dissolving into laughter. I've heard that this kind of game is developed frequently among high school choir nerds, so it probably isn't unique to them. I know this was filmed at their studio (so as not to wake the neighbors); I *don't* know how un-planned it was. They certainly had the karaoke tracks all prepared, but that may not have been for this per se. They also certainly had someone there to film; the camera isn't stationary. So either there's someone they could call at the last minute for that or it was planned in advance. It also appears that the "snow" had been cut in advance, though Mitch certainly seemed to be taken by surprise when they threw it at him. Remember, the trio (Mitch, Scott, and Kirstie) have been best friends since high school. Pentatonix acts as if they're all members of a family of choice (in addition to their individual families), and the trio is the heart of Pentatonix. I'm sure that they have disagreements occasionally - all families do - but at the end of the day they're still best friends, and I doubt that anything can ever change that. That friendship shines through everything they do together; it's one of the reasons so many of us are pentaholics.
I absolutely love the game idea of singing most of key without laughing 🤣 I would obviously lose every time as I can't even watch other people do it without laughing so hard my face hurts! The paper snow got me every single time. It's so good! So good!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and tell me all this info!
@@VetMedCorner Pleased to do so. I lost my husband in February and first discovered Pentatonix (and by extension SuperFruit) in September - their music has been helpful to me in my grief, and it's lovely to have the "Frozen" medley to go to whenever I need to laugh. I couldn't play the off-key singing game at all; I think it takes a real musician to do that well. I sing (I'm a filker - filk is a living folk music tradition centered around science fiction, fantasy, and science), but not well enough to deliberately do the kind of off-key runs that Scott does. I mostly just sing off-key by accident. Other SuperFruit stuff you might enjoy: "GUY.EXE," "95 Ways to Ditch Your Date" (I *think* it's 95, but I could be wrong), and the one where they explain gay slang to Mitch's dad - I forget the title but a bit of searching should find it (and I personally am very impressed with Mr. Grassi's bravery and trust in them that he allowed them to film that - they did try to go easy on him, though). And not at all funny, but I've been listening to it a *lot* since the Club Q shootings on November 19th - SuperFruit got together with three friends of theirs who are also singers and also members of the LGBTQ+ community to sing a cover of Katy Perry's "Rise," in response to the Pulse massacre in 2016. Gorgeous, and powerful. It speaks to me of defying the odds, and of hope, and of empowerment. Turn the volume down a bit, though; these five really belt it out.
