I've got 1 more week to wait before picking mine up and it's agony! In the meantime I keep watching this video, so thanks for helping retain some sanity!
Just bought the R version waiting delivery can't wait to pick it up.. The test ride I wen t on just blew me away.. what an awesome machine :) love it.. great review my friend
Of all the bikes I should have bought this one seems to have slipped through my fingers…so far…watching videos like this makes me want one even more..that triple sound and burble ..OMG..
thanks for the nice reviews, so after riding both the Speed3 and the Street3 which bike would you choose at the end of the day to purchase and take home, to actually say this is my bike. thanks
Hey TTT, glad you liked the bike. I must say I do like that color...and the sound is great too with those cans. I love the Speed Triple...the torque and size of the bike are what won me over. Also, for a big guy like me this is probably one of the most comfortable street bikes. Make the rain stop! :(
I had a similar test ride from my local dealer last year. Didn't want to give it back. Didn't have the arrow exhaust though (which sounds awesome btw). I'd have to have mine in black or the crystal white if I was able to buy one. Not sure about that blue. Just a lovely bike to ride, look at, listen to. Nice review!
I didn't want one, now I do and it's your fault!! good to see you back - been a long time, and so long waiting for the ST repair - hope it goes well for you buddy.
I know what you mean when you say 'light,' I sat on both the Street and the Speed at my local dealership and the Speed felt heavier, s'pose its because of the larger engine, but only slightly. More of a forward leaning position on the Speed as well. Good vid Triple, glad to see ya back ;)
I think its only the engine weight and narrower build of the street that separates them on the road, the speed is very agile but the street is positively throw around-able :p
I love the sound of the triple engine. The rev and that little whistle afterwards. Never really thought about the speed, didn't like the shape of the tank compared to the street and Is probably too powerful for what I'd use it for. Is it easy at low speeds, town riding etc then? Look forward to more vids.
Its very stable at low speed, no need to drop down the gears really the torque carries you through even at low speeds. If anything its more stable than the street but not as easy to throw around.
Great savings on 2013 bikes just before the June update....just bought a 2013 one plus I think a new one is coming next year (2015) so you can haggle a wee bit. Great review, the one I just bought has most trick parts but need to get me those slip-ons!!
TheTripleTwister Just watching now :) not sure what went wrong with the computer at work crazy i think Lovely bike very nice review Nicely done Thumbs up
youtube seems to be doing that a lot at the moment with newly uploaded vids, It shows as uploaded but only the sound plays and the visuals appear about 5 mins later. My filtering video too 15 mins before I could watch it myself!
Ive been offered a 05 speed triple 1050 for a very good price. I would buy it straight away but unfortunately its been crashed. I can fix all of the cosmetic stuff but there is an oil leak from the engine casing. Il find out next week if its a simple switch of the casing or the if its worse. The worst part is i would have to change my youtube name.
Sounds like a big project and for me would need to be an amazing price to take the risk. If it has been claimed against on insurance and now Cat C or D for example it wont have the same resale value once repaired. Good luck if you go for it :)
Yeah hes selling it for less than half of what it would be worth in good condition. The only thing that has me concerned is the oil leak and weather or not the frame is bent. To give you an idea if you were standing 5 metres away you wouldn't even know its been crashed. I am really tempted its one of my favorite bikes. But i never bothered to ask him if its Cat C,D. It wouldnt matter that much because i dont think i would ever sell it.
Not a fan of the mirrors on the new models, but still not helping that I really want this bike =') Heehee. Great review! Absolutely love triumphs and this bike is defo top of the list for me still =)
I liked these bar ends, I dot usually. I rode the 675 street and it has awful standard mirrors. Visibility good but they look crap and arent the easiest to adjust.
Aah fair does. It's the 675 I'm looking at tbh, but probably more when my licence is unrestricted (1 more year!! XD not counting down at all). I've only ever been on the back of one, never ridden one myself =)
I love Triumph... I'm going to be getting myself one as soon as the finances work out! The only problem I'm having is that I'm torn between the Speed Triple and the Street Triple. It would be great to hear from someone that's ridden (or even owned!) both bikes. The Speed has the bigger engine and therefore more power and torque, whereas the Street is lighter and more manoeuvrable. I'm leaning towards the Street at the moment since, although it has less power than the Speed, it still makes more than 100hp. It also sounds better for me since I will be doing a lot of London commuting as well as country lanes and epic trips :). The only thing I'm worried about is that I'll get a Street, grow into it over the course of six months and then think "Sh*t. Should've got the Speed".
Is it true, that it has soo much torque that you are in danger of accelerating the earths speed of revolution, thus causing catastrophic flooding? Glad to see TT back in my YT channel!
I nearly bought this one! I tool it back and was very tempted, lol. I think I would definitely consider one in the near future having never considered one before this test ride.
there are no words to discribe how good my speedy is, but i will try with my limited knowledge of the english language. Do not fuck around with anything else, will not break, will not stop, will wheel stand, will do burn out's, will leave coppers behind every time and thinks corners are made for harley's
Its still here to be continued. Kickstart has been fixed, battery box primed ready for fitting and paint. VHT paint ordered, more project vids to come as well as more ride reviews :)

I want one so much it hurts
Yes, yes you do and you should!!
cheers for the sub ;)

Just got mine with 2600
Miles and dual arrow exhaust love it it’s bright green
sounds epic glad too see you back
Thank you :)
Great review. I still miss my Speed Triple after selling it 4 years ago. Wish I could afford to own more than one Triumph.
I think thats the answer, one isnt enough ;)
Nice to see you uploading again! Very sexy bike I might add!
Thanks :)
Really nice review mate, nice bit of technically info to go with your thoughts.
Does look and sound the ticket!
Thanks, more reviews to come 675 street triple next :)
thanks for the nice reviews, so after riding both the Speed3 and the Street3 which bike would you choose at the end of the day to purchase and take home, to actually say this is my bike. thanks
I like the blue ! Nice review
Thanks, its a stunning colour I think ;)
Just bought 1, cannot recommend it enough. A fantastic alternative to litre sports bikes
Fooking gorgeous.
Great vlog again. That sound... ooh err
Cheers
I'm not jealous honest!
Nice little review my boy!
Thank you sir! Shall msg you soon ;)
I've been going past me local triumph shop like everyday and there used to be one of these in the window such a tease!
I actually have the same thing, luckily im getting to ride them now :)

Also, for a big guy like me this is probably one of the most comfortable street bikes. Make the rain stop! :(
I think you are spot on, its a good size for the bigger guy, lol. We shall need to get a ride out again when the weather is better!
that is a nice looking bike and the colour is very nice too and sound ect.... great review triple. ride safe
Thanks, glad you liked it :)
Awesome looking bike great review buddy, and that sound! good video buddy, RSMF.

Black... yes! White? nah I think it might look more dated in a few years.
I didn't want one, now I do and it's your fault!!
good to see you back - been a long time, and so long waiting for the ST repair - hope it goes well for you buddy.
How can you not want this bike? Trust me, I've ridden it, you wanted it even before you knew you did.
I believe you man!
fantastic video, me and my dad went to that dealership a couple weeks ago, did you ride to Northampton on a test ride from wellingborough?
I know what you mean when you say 'light,' I sat on both the Street and the Speed at my local dealership and the Speed felt heavier, s'pose its because of the larger engine, but only slightly. More of a forward leaning position on the Speed as well. Good vid Triple, glad to see ya back ;)

I completely agree :D Can't wait to ride them myself...in a few years lol.
That is a great review of a great bike ,thanks for sharing.
Thanks Kev!
How is the ride compared to the Daytona 675r in city riding conditions?also which one of the two is quicker?
Great review man!
Great review!
Can you tell me if the baffles were in or out, in order for it to make the lovely burble noise?
mine bubbles even with the baffles in. It was too loud for me with the baffles out
Great review buddy 😊
I love the sound of the triple engine. The rev and that little whistle afterwards.

you Should try the speed triple r. I have one unreal
Wow that is a nice triple, I don't normally like blue but even I would settle for that. Good review, liked & subbed.
Thank you, appreciate the comments :)
Yes please Mr T! Glad you are back, any news on the St rebuild?
Yes, its being collected to have the engine replaced over the coming weeks :)
Yay hope it all goes well mate,.....Beep!

TheTripleTwister now that is GOOD news!
After watching that,I'm lusting after one! Couldn't/wouldn't sell my Tiger or Super3 tho.
No, but this was an awesome bike!

nice review, and not a single clip of a cager trying to knock you off?! so good editing as well ;)
so when is the test ride of the Daytona?
I didnt think it was the kind of vid to include them :p
Daytona in the next week :)
Nice to see you back on a bike. So are you tempted?
Incredibly, and I think its a model near the top of my list but as Im getting to ride several more for review it might be best to reserve judgement :)
Welcome back
Errr not sure if its at my ends but its black "there is sound but no picture " :(
Thanks, its playing ok on my phone and laptop?

Pinky Doodly You will love it! A year will fly by :)
Haha thanks! =)
In profile these bikes look at least 20 times cooler with a low-slung exhaust. Very cool bikes, but that seat looks like an absolute nut-crusher.
I love Triumph... I'm going to be getting myself one as soon as the finances work out!

dat triple ;-)
I saw one at my house

Glad to see TT back in my YT channel!
I think it has begun!! ;)
So what you're saying is that you disliked it and would never own one...?
I nearly bought this one! I tool it back and was very tempted, lol. I think I would definitely consider one in the near future having never considered one before this test ride.
The bike would look better in black I think.
It's the best bike that I've ever as much as sat on, but I really am not a fan of that colour!

God, the sound of that thing is fap inducing.
What happened with your 125 project?
Its still here to be continued. Kickstart has been fixed, battery box primed ready for fitting and paint. VHT paint ordered, more project vids to come as well as more ride reviews :)
