  • Really sad to see this one go but I also had my fun with it. Hopefully it treats the new owner just as great as it was to me!

    Sad to see her go! 122k with my Casper and I’ve really had no issues! Great cars

    It’s sad to say goodbye to this car, but I hope that the new car would be an upgrade from this one that you like even more. When you showed the electronic parking brake switch, it's the same location for the subaru outback in the family fleet at my house.
    My daily driving is the opposite, since it’s mostly highway miles with suburban roads.

    the top engine mount at 26:34 is a common replacement issue and an easy job to do. they are designed to transmit as least engine vibration as possible hence a minimal and soft rubber compound. Of course with the engine heat and constant movement/vibration they absorb one must consider them a consumable item, like tyres. Not a Volvo/Ford failing, merely sacrificial.

    As a Volvo XC70 owner who also has a W212 in the garage, wishing you many fun miles in the E400! I have the E550 with the M278, and it’s a blast to drive. Just don’t get rid of the 240!

    Most of the time at least from what ive seen on a daily basis, Michelins typically will only last around 25-30k miles especially on an AWD car. Outer edge wear is common on them as well.

    Are the 5cyl engines in the s60 better than the later generation 4 cyl engines?

    Hello! I own a 2012 Volvo S60 t5, and it down shifts rough (not necessarily rough, but you can definitely feel it) from I believe either 1-2 or 3-4. Any suggestions as to what it could be? (Only asking because I can’t figure it out.)

      Sounds like you need a fluid flush and possibly even the trans software reflashed/updated.

    Hey Jake
    Looking at a 2012 S60 T6 with 53k on it
    Have seen some stuff about oil consumption on line
    Did you experience any oil consumption issues while you owned your S60?

    • @Jakeman21642
      @Jakeman21642  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just like I mentioned in the video I had zero consumption issues the entire time I had it! The issues are real though, it really seems like you either get a good one or a BAD one. I’d definitely check service records and possibly have a PPI done at a shop if you can.
