- Picture yourself living in a humble home in the middle of the woods, unassuming from the outside, but cozy and grand inside. Bill had just that, and he worked on his business of fixing vehicles alongside being a husband, and father to him and his wife’s two kids. They lived the dream they always wanted, being one with nature, and secluded from everything that happened in the world outside. After their kids moved out years later, they enjoyed their retirement together, going for walks and swimming in their pool. However, nearing their 50th marriage anniversary, Bill and his wife got very sick during the COVID-19 pandemic. He survived, however, she did not. Bill felt a mixture of anguish and anger, not knowing how something this tragic could happen, and he grew frightened of the end of the world. He took no break in starting to construct an underground bunker for him to shelter in case of disasters and spent years fortifying it with thousands of pounds of provisions. However, after getting diagnosed with cancer just a year after he finished construction, he died. Now the home sits abandoned, serving as a story of love, heartbreak, and devastation

I’m shocked at how bad the water damage was after just 3 years of being empty. Either the decedents who inherited the property left the windows open, or it was vandalized extremely quick.

I think the owner was a Army Veteran. I spotted an E-4 Army Patch on the shoulder of what looked to be a U.S.G.I. Issue M65 Field Jacket from his time in Vietnam... Look closely and you'll see it hanging in the lower passageway of that sub level just pass the Liquor Bottles.🫡🇺🇲
Oh interesting. From what we learned it seemed that the wife was a teacher and the husband a mechanic. I guess he was in the army before. Good spot!

They don't appreciate certain things. Probably also inherited a lot of money and bought whatever they wanted. None of this mattered to them. That's usually how it is in wealthy families. Oh, and they usually hate their parents for some reason.

. So what did you learn? The wife died from Covid '20-21. He never fully recovered physically. The home eventually went into foreclosure. That is why so much is left behind. Once law enforcement padlocks it; you can not go back in & retrieve anything. That is not a 'bunker'😂. Just a basement hun! Already existed. He did not spend (years) making it after she passed. Do you realize Covid was in 2021-2022?🙄
